My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights for a short getaway. At first glance the hotel looks lovely and modern, however there were a number of disappointing aspects to our stay... First of all, we paid extra for the 'spa' room. There were no signs about how to operate the spa, but 10 or 15 minutes after using... More

Located in part suburbia around the corner from ABC radio- the back of the Dickson area. I will be honest - I chose this hotel on price alone over the internet (Aria room). When I checked in I was upgraded to a 1 bedroom. Overlooking a carpark I did not care as I was not in the room for long.... More

Agree with other reviews that this hotel is a little clinical but I think this is due to its very modern layout and furniture . Very good service, and very clean. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment which had above average appliances and a marvelous comfortable bed. We found it close to the cbd(driving distance) and not far from the... More

The hotel is new, clean and very secure. Your room key will only allow lift access the floor you are staying on. The room we had was small for two people, if one sat at the desk working the other could not walk past the bed you either had to move or the other person had to climb over the... More

Most impressed with this new hotel. Found the staff to be very friendly and polite and with a sense of humour. Hotel was very clean. Could not fault this hotel, will definitely be back again when in Canberra.

Although the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and the staff were very helpful, this hotel leaves an unpleasant impression. Throughout my stay there was a sense of penny-pinching and market gouging by this hotel group, Capital. It's as if they've never understood the "hospitable" part of the hospitality industry. The location is desolate, a suburban back street,... More

Really impressed with the new Aria Hotel in Canberra! Looked at a lot of options including the Novotel, and this offered a much better deal. So glad we chose this one. Went to see Ross Noble in at the Canberra Theatre and wanted a quick dinner before at a place which was within walking distance from the show - got... More

Stayed for two nights in aria room. Although I have stayed in larger rooms, I was on my own and didn't feel at all cramped. The decor was very modern and worthy of any five star establishment. Room was spotless and very well maintained. The view from the balcony was second to none and very quiet. Location was very central... More

I don't like travelling for work and we get to stay in some tired and uninspiring accommodation. Dickson has a few good restaurants and is within walking distance of the city for anyone willing to make the effort. Check in and check out was straightforward and I didn't have much more to do with the hotel services. The room was... More

I must admit that I was excited at entering the hotel. I thought it looked modern and stylish with a touch of elegance as well. Until 5:30am that is. Until a fire alarm rudely awakened my wife and I from our slumber! I don't like the fact that we had to walk down 6 flights of stairs to evcuate.I don't... More
