This was our luxury accomodation while walking the East Highland Way and was worth every penny. Beautifully decorated, clean and tidy with excellent hosts in Simon and Fiona who have a wealth of knowledge relating to food, drink and local places of interest. The 4 ' Ayrshire Waysters ' enjoyed a delicious well presented evening meal with 'A Taste of... More

It was our pleasure to welcome the "Aryshire Waysters" to stay here at The Rumblie after your long walk from Tulloch....it's a long hard section we know. So pleased to know that you enjoyed our "Taste of Scotland" starter and the rest of Dinner. Hope the rest of the East Highland Way went well and that Glen Banchor was not... More

We arrived here early and unannounced on day 2 of walking the East Highland Way. Fiona could not have been kinder, we were hoping to drop our packs and amuse ourselves until check-in, instead we were ushered straight in to our spotless, well stocked twin room. The shower was enormous with lots of hot water. Our evening meal was good,... More

Thank you for your lovely review. It was our pleasure to welcome you and your early arrival was no problem at all to us, much better to be comfortable & welcome rather than spend the day in the rain. Delighted to know how much you enjoyed the evening meal. Hope the rest of the East Highland Way worked out well... More

Have just returned from a very wet and windy walking weekend. The trip, as a consequence of the weather could have been a complete disaster. Thankfully we chose to stay with Fiona and Simon at their fantastic home and they made the entire difference to our experience. On arrival we were made very welcome and were delighted with our luxurious... More

Very few negatives can be said about the Rumblie, the host and hostess are personable, the rooms clean, modern and comfortable. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but if you are a Monarch of the Glen fan, you will love it! Simon has quite a few relics of the series that are displayed about the residence. We... More

Words cannot describe how wonderful a time we had here. Fiona and Simon are fantastic hosts, the accommodation is superb and the combination unbeatable. Fiona's cooking is amazing, the care she takes in making and presenting is fantastic. The fact that meals are organic with most vegetables from their own garden and outside foods being locally sourced makes it even... More

This is one of the nicest B&Bs I have ever stayed in. The room was large, comfortable and super clean, likewise the bathroom. A walk-in shower with two different shower heads, which was fantastic. If you expect the usual tea and coffee-making facilities, you'll be pleasantly surprised: There is instant coffee, there is hot chocolate, there is a mini-cafetiere with... More

The Rumblie is a real find. Simon and Fiona are the perfect hosts - their unforced and natural easygoing charm make you feel at home from the outset. Our room was bright, comfortable and decorated in plain and simple but fresh colours. The food (we had one evening meal as well as two breakfasts) was uncomplicated but tasty and well-cooked.... Stayed at The Rumblie on our way at the East Highland Way. The owners were kind and picked us up 5 miles away from the B&B and dropped us off again the next day. Stayed here with three friends in June while we were walking the East Highland Way.
