We would like to give at least 6 stars, but only 5 are possible! A loveley Cottage in a peaceful landscape. There is really nothing you miss in the rooms (including the sherry). Simon is a very attentive host. He makes a rich, tasty breakfast with momemade jams and marmelades. Delecious! Many beautifull gardens, the nice City of Royal Tunbridge... More

A top notch B&B with a very attentive host, well appointed rooms and one of the best breakfasts I have had for a long time. We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful B&B and would highly recommend it.

My husband and I could not recommend Hononton Cottage highly enough. It was perfect for what we needed - a quiet retreat in beautiful surroundings, providing everything we could have imagined, and more. Simon went out of his way to make our stay the best it could be. His recommendations for walks and a meal were spot on. We had... More

We stayed at Hononton Cottage for 2 days in December and had a great experience. The cottage is lovely and Simon, the host, is very friendly and a good source of information on the local area. It's is situated in a quiet lane with fields and apple orchards surrounding it so was very peaceful. The breakfasts were made fresh to... More

I was in the area on business and stayed here for three nights and within 5 minutes of meeting Simon and exploring the room I wished it was for a week. Simon has thought of every little luxury from cotton pads to facial wipes and scrunchie sponges, from a huge selection of hot drinks to toothbrushes and slippers. At the... More

My partner and I recently stayed at the charming Hononton Cottage b & b, a 16th century grade II listed property. It is owned and run by Simon who looks after the cottage beautifully. The breakfast was outstanding, with fresh local fruit and preserves made by Simon himself. The setting is magnificent and a fabulous place for walking. Our room... More

My uncle found Honoton Cottage and regrets staying elsewhere while we stayed here. Simon has thought of everything you could want along with things you would never think of. The cottage is beautiful inside and out. The views to the garden and orchard and stunning. The rooms are comfy and clean and Simon ' s hospitality is very welcoming. Breakfast... More

We spent only one night at Hononton Cottage, unfortunately, but we had a wonderful time there! The cottage is very beautiful as well as its garden, the rooms are very nice and quiet, the breakfast was excellent with a very good choice including full Kentish cooked breakfast, local seasonal fruits and home made preserves and marmalade, good tea, coffee and... How nice to hear from you and read your review. I try to treat my guests as friends as you are staying in my home not an impersonal hotel and it is so rewarding to read that you enjoyed your brief stay. Pashley Manor is a beautiful garden with the added touch of sculpture tastefully positioned throughout the garden. The... More

I have just arrived back from my stay here with my friends, without gushing I wanted to say how amazing the cottage, position and Simon was. Thoroughly relaxing and I hope to return in the not so distant future.
