Stayed in the brand new Blue Emerald apartments (The Ocean) pretty much on the beach. The complex has some new 2 or 3 bedroom apartments as well as villa's on a very big resort which includes a 18 hole golf course. We decided to go for the apartments as we were told they had full sea view, large balconies and... More

Went to Blue Bay's new complex, Blue Emerald, located beachfront. The views are simply breathtaking (perfect for watching the sunset!). A spot of breakfast, lunch, or dinner is located right on the beach called Azurro. Their food was delicious. Drinks are also served at the bar on the beach. It's a great place to relax on your balcony and feel... More

2 friends came along to celebrate my birthday in Curacao for 6 days. I chose Blue Bay because of the described space of the 3 bedroom villas. The accommodations didn't disappoint. The villas were a great size. I initially planned for more people to come which may have gotten a little tight in the other 2 bedrooms. But you don't... More

Nicely landscaped holiday and residential park with a nice golf course. There is Indeed a lot of construction going on, and the seaside is losing a part of it's charm beacause of new big tourist buildings. What bothererd us most was the unavoidable and ever present smell of the big island refinery. Blue Bay is located about 6 km from... More

We stayed here for three weeks. We have stayed here before a few years ago, but all the construction will mean that there are more and more people on this small beach, and I have my doubts about Blue Bay improving the infrastructure to keep up with the added population. THE GOOD - reception staff is helpful, polite and professional... More

We stayed in Blue Bay Village for two weeks in March 2008. The villas were spaceous and Ok for 6 people. The 3rd bedroom was quite small, but beds were comfortable. The big veranda was lovely. Nice beach - weather was very good! You need a car - or else you easily get isolated. A large supermarket is close to... More
