We stayed in the accommodation at Varlet Farm for three nights as part of a group of 17 visiting some WW1 sites. We were not always keen to choose B&B's over hotels but if you have similar concerns dont, this place is better than some far more expensive hotels we have stayed at! The owners are welcoming, relaxed and informative,... More

This is not a sophisticated place, but it is extremely welcoming and has all that you need. You are greeted with tea and home-made apple pie, breakfasts are generous and you are invited to make a packed lunch from the ample left-overs. Rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious and have free wi-fi. A well-stocked fridge of beer at very reasonable... More

Stayed at Varlet with mates on a motorcycle tour after visiting the year before. Dirk and Varlet don't disappoint, nice clean rooms, fantastic host and great value. Always there to help if you need anything. Lovely breakfast and superb bike storage. Thanks Dirk and your family for the usual pleasant stay. The Belgians are fantastic people.

First impressions are important, and this one was accompanied with complimentary apple pie and coffee. Dirk and his family are genuinely interested in helping visitors to explore the region, and will loan guests maps if they don't have their own. The breakfasts were amazing, and we were positively encouraged to make up lunches from what was available, at no extra... More

The communication ahead of arrival was excellent and the welcome from Dirk was informative, genuine and his apple cake exceptional! The well stocked fridge, with honesty... More
