We travelled nearly 400 miles from Geneva to Chateau de Clermont, arriving at 9.45pm. We hadn't eaten but we had the exact location programmed in to the satnav so we were able to find it straight away. That said the village is only small & Chateau de Clermont is right in the centre, so it wouldn't have been hard to... More

We had spent some time in the south of France and stopped off at a couple of places on the way back to the ferry. This was one of them. It's stunning! The rooms are gorgeous. Every room is unique and very nicely decorated. The toilet and shower setup is a little odd in some of the rooms due to... More

On one hand I would love to give this place the maximum score: - Hospitality of this location is great. Everybody makes you feel @ home - Rooms are great. Countryside views from within the bed with adequate basic needs. Just as should be - The swiiming pool is well equiped and not just a place with water. Surprising for... More

A beautiful guest house in a lovely location, run by a friendly French family. The rooms (only 5 plus a cottage) are very French country chic with a fantastic view, and the table d'hôte was tasty, hearty French cuisine with delicious wine. Rooms are situated in a renovated attic space (no impairment on headspace!) above a lovely pool with terrace.... More

Gorgeous chateau, perfect rooms overlooking the ponies in the garden, rooms are kooky and charming decor with an artistic touch, lots of character and really made to feel very welcome. Gorgeous indoor pool with 5 double guest rooms above, 2 of which have mezzanine areas for children's beds. Also 2 mini cottages set apart from the main house. Fabrice, the... More

There is something about this place that just ticks all my boxes! The combination of new and old, antique and modern, organised and chaotic. The renovations of the annex have been done with such love, each room is so unique that when we were given the choice between two on the evening we arrived, I dithered...how could I choose between... This B&B has been blessed with many good and accurate reviews. They are all true and help you form a good picture of the accommodation, which you will not be disappointed with. On our journey we were served by the 'younger generation' who did an exceptional job of providing anything we needed. They made us an apple tart in the... More

Another wonderful Chateau to add to our list on the Tunnel - Cote D'Azur route. Fabrice and Agnes and family join you for a fantastic evening of wine tasting and dinner! Superb French wines personal choice of the host, his speciality and a wonderful seasonal dinner prepared the French way. The rooms in the refurbished annex were very well appointed,... More

As others have said, this is very much a work in progress so don't book if you are expecting perfection - when this place finally is perfect it will probably cost three times the current price. The owners have spent the last 16 years renovating a rambling 300-year old house and are still working on it - as others have... More

Arrived earlier today and are having a lovely relaxing time in lovely surroundings. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a short break or stopover while travelling through Europe. Just book it because you will not be disappointed!
