Stayed here in October 2014 whilst visiting family during a very difficult time. Linda was just amazing. Her attention to detail made our time in Newark very smooth. She catered so well for our children and made us all feel like we were part of her family. Her home and our rooms were spotless, breakfast was a feast that set... More

Just had a lovely 2 night stay and was made most welcome by Linda. Room was spotless and bed was most comfortable giving great sleep quality. Room was spotless and little touches like chocolate treat with tea making facility was a sweet touch. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful too. Would highly recommend this charming B&B. Great value and knocks spots... More

We stayed overnight at the Vicarage for a family party in Balderton with our two grandchildren - one just under 2 and one just under 4 and Linda couldn't have been more hospitable. The rooms were immaculate with books by the bed for the four year old and a drink each for them when we returned from the party and... More

I stayed at The Vicarage for a fortnight last month and cannot recommend it highly enough. I had the large en suite room and it was just perfect - spotlessly clean with lovely added touches like toiletries, tissues fresh fruit and flowers from the garden in the room on arrival. Linda and Tony make you feel like part of their... More

While on a recent course with RMH training, I was lucky to stay at the Vicarage. The hospitality there was second to none, giving that personal touch which is sadly lacking at most larger establishments. Linda and her husband went out of their way to ensure that their guests were comfortable and every need was catered for. I would highly... More

Stayed here for 4 nights 24-28 March 14. I had the en-suite room. Very confortable and clean. Excellent double shower. Free wi-fi, TV and tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of places to eat out within a couple of miles but does mean travel by car or Taxi. Oh yes it is the Vicarage with a real live Vicar :)
