We are almost at the stage of losing count of the times we have stayed at Dolphin Bay. What brings us back is the laid back atmosphere and freedom for the children. The two square pools are overlooked by the bar and restaurant so it always feels like a safe place for our young children to learn to swim. It's... More

This area is quite lovely...scenic bay with long white sand beach, not too busy, not too pricey and close to a stunning national park. The resort is large with duplex cottages and a two story motel- like structure overlooking two pools, one with water slide, and a central sunning area. Rooms are very clean if a bit dated. Staff is... More

We stayed in the Area for 10 days and we are here at least three times. Thai green, yellow red curry was great . Sometimes the cooking is a little bland as they Definately cater for Euro taste. Is that bad ? What they do they do well . The resort looked great and there where loads of kids playing... More

very clean and tidy hotel and just over road to beach and short boat ride to monkey island.hotel caters very much for family groups and as a couple i would not visit in peak period as i am sure that children would be in abundance, never the less i would certainly recommend this hotel.there are a small number of small restaurants... We stayed here on our way south from Bangkok to the islands and were so glad we did. My wife and I were traveling with our kids (4 and 6) and were looking for a place to stay that the kids would enjoy. Immediately my wife and I were happy with the secluded location away from the high rises of... More

I had stayed here many times several years ago and on arrival was not initially aware that the new owners have been in charge for a couple of years. This was always a good resort hotel but is now considerably better. We were here for five nights, I had a one bedroom suite, my son his partner and my grand... More

Agree with other travelers that little kids love this place. The service is good and the breakfast also. The rooms are nice little bungalows, we didnt see the main building rooms, and the price is right, especially in the off-season. The views from the beach are nice, but the beach itself is just ok. The water, like most of the... More

Stayed in this hotel after my sons wedding at the Brassiere. Lovely setting with views over the beach. Rooms were very good and clean and an ideal place for children and they are well catered for. Very few children when we were there in November, so it was ok for us. Think if you are a couple and go later... More

The hotel is nice in general for family with small kids. My son (4 years old) really enjoy his stay there. The staffs are really helpfull. It locates in the quiet beach. However, it is far from other stuff, for example, local restaurants or shops.

As a solo traveler I was a bit worried by the "great family hotel theme" going through several reviews. I was assured by friends that I would enjoy the place and I was not disappointed. Located on the beach with the amazing mountains of Sam Roi Yot National Park around it is a very beautiful area. The modern chain restaurants... More
