We came here for a long weekend away from Bangkok with our 4 year old, and it was ideal. We took one of the rooms on the upper floor right at the end, which it meant it was quieter but also had very sporadic wifi. One thing to be aware of is that if you come at the weekend, you... More

No surprise here, but I'm going to pile on in agreeing that this is a super family-friendly resort. Very straight-forward, no frills, but little details made it such a pleasant vacation if you have young kids (mine are 4 and 2). Food was great, we ate mostly Western and thought the price was fair, slightly cheaper than what you would... More

Indeed this hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The staff were exceptionally helpful and they also spoke very good English which is a great help. From check in to check out the experience was superb with the only blight being unfortunate rain storms which caused the electrics to fail, it becomes too hot without at least a fan. The... More

This hotel is far from the crowds situated in a small town about one hours drive south from Hua Hin. It is in a small township (maybe even a village) next to a beautiful Sandy beach. The area surrounding it is mountainous therefore you benefit from sea and boat trips to clambering through jungle to the mountain tops. The hotel... More

Beautiful views of gulf and island mountains. Very remote, quiet and peaceful. Children ages 2 & 4 enjoyed the pool with slide and playground. Onsite restaurant is fantastic as well - very affordable and tasty.

Dolphin Bay is certainly one of the very few resorts in Thailand who afford every thing you need when you have a family and want to spend a week-end « living apart together ». Heaven for kids going together (young ones preferably) with swimming pool and fun play areas, beach in front, buffet breakfast and all-you-like-tasty-food-menu at very affordable prices,... More

I heartily recommend the Daulphin Bay. We go there regularly for pleasant weekend . The welcome is warm, the staff is nice. I recommend the SPA , massages are very good quality (knowing that I suffer back) . For my children (6 and 9 years old) it's paradise so for me too! they have great freedom, but it is very... More

This resort would be good for families but if you are on your own or as a couple I would not recommend it. I found it expensive compared to the other hotels and resorts on the same road, the drinks and meals are cheaper else where. The rooms are outdated and it would look as though it has not been... Dear guest, thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed overall your stay with us. Please allow me a couple or remarks on your comments: the room you booked (upper floor) is our last non-upgraded wing and the only rooms without flatscreen T.V. It's our first price room. The restaurant : we (Chef Jared) are trying to outsource... More

Highly recommended by a friend we stayed in this resort for 5 nights in April. If you are looking for a relaxed holiday with nothing but sun, sand and swim then this location is perfect! We booked a bungalow with two rooms facing the lawn and while the room was decent, the bathrooms could be better with some renovation and... More

I was recommended to this place by an international school teacher (thank you Simon P). It's excellent value and a great place if you have kids or don't mind them being around. The whole set up is for families really. There were families with babies and teenage children here. There are 2 pools, a water slide, a grassy area to... More
