My wife and I are currently staying in Room 226 which is an inter connecting room. The problem being with us being non smokers and the couple next door being smokers, we are always returning to our room stinking of cigarette smoke. It would be very easy for the Resort to enquire at check in if guests were smokers or... More

Good: beautiful old-school design of the rooms takes you back to 1920; magical garden; very friendly staff; in general peaceful and slow atmosphere. Cons: pricey for Thailand, you could stay on the same beach for a third of the price; nearby is a party hotel, you will hear the techno bass all day until 2am.

We stayed her for 13 nights and the price of the room was excellent. We had a superior double which looks a lot better than the standard. Hotel has free WiFi. Breakfast was excellent and there was always plenty even if we got there 10 minutes before breakfast finished. The pool was quite shaded but we spend most of the... More

We stayed here for three nights, We had to wait about 30 minutes as the room wasn't ready upon our arrival although we were treated to a drink and they even bought the fan over for us when we were sitting outside to keep us cool. It's location was was great and very convenient as you are smack bang in... More

If you are the partying type, looking to be kept up at night, if you are looking for airplanes to take off over your bed, then you found your destination. (it is next door to the Ark Hotel and Bar which is extremely noisy). This hotel does not seem to care for their guests. They do want your money. Unfriendly... More

We stayed at the Chaweng Garden Beach Resort in February of this year for around 5 nights. Both my partner and I loved it there - with the beach out the back and the busy streets of Chaweng out the front you get the best of both worlds. The gardens around the resort make you feel a million miles away... More

Before we stayed at a different paradise resort on Chaweng, but we heard that that area on Chaweng Beach wasn't populair anymore. After some research I choose this hotel because it is one of the view resorts that is still in hands of a true Koh Samui family and in the center of Chaweng. When I mailed them personnaly to... More

We stayed in a standard room for 13 nights. The rooms are nice and big, with a big bathroom and shower. The veranda is nice with 2 chairs and a table and a place to dry your clothes. The standard room had everything we needed. Central location and right on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast with a... More

Some of the reviewers have already mentioned the noise from the nearby ARK bar, about 50 meters further north on the beach, and that the hotel is straight under the flightpath for the airport. The flights you get used to after a while, and there is no flights at late or early hours, so that was OK for me. However... More
