We stayed here in advance of the Maratona di Italia which was held on October 13. We had a spacious room with a very nice bathroom. The location was a little bit out of the way from any major road, but convenient for our needs. All was fine until we returned in the late afternoon. Directly across from our room,... More

Dear Bkcbrau, We are very sorry for the inconvenience, our structure is a Pet-Friendly Hotel and usually we are very careful to respect and to ensure respect our clients with the rules of silence but unfortunately in this case it was a puppy therefore does not as soon as you have told us of the problem we immediately called the... The hotel is a great place to stay for a short time. Close to Carpi and Modena for day trips. Our rooms were big with well equipped bathrooms. The kingsize bed was huge but the problem was the mattresses would split in the middle during the night so we ended up with a dividing gap between us...bit of a laugh.... More

Conveniently located to many attractions in the area. Close to Parma, Modena, Bologna,Ferrari Museum, balsamic vinegar tasting. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Breakfast is wonderful. The proprietor treates you as if you are a guest in his home. This hotel is definitely a class act and tremendous value.

Then the Rosso Frizzante is the perfect spot for relaxation. 10 Minutes from the Autostrada, close to Modena, it offers very clean, attractive rooms, quietness and a great breakfast to get you started for your next leg. And why not splurge and get a room with a jacuzzi? We enjoyed it a lot, after a trip coming from Bari.

We would have to agree with the review from The UK. in saying that it is worth while returning just for the hotel. We believe it was the owner on duty when we were there and he was an excellent ambassador for the region in which the hotel is located. He offered us the opportunity to taste the local wine... More

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It appears recently built as the whole place was pristine. The on suite is huge, the bed was the biggest I have ever seen. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. All that was left was the staff and based on the receptionist she was superb. I would visit the area again just to... More

Hotel is in the countryside and a little hard to find but once there it's a great base point for travelling around by car to other cities. Make sure to have latitude/longetitude for GPS since ours wouldn't find hotel by name or address. (Hotel about a year old when we visited) Good selection for continental breakfast with plenty available! Make... More

My husband and I spent a week at the Rosso Frizzante in September of this year. We found it to be a great base to tour the region. The hotel is modern with large, bright rooms which are absolutely spotless. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are happy to give you advice or to book trips to local... More

The hotel is modern looking, rooms are large, very quiet and spotless. The staff is friendly and helpful (ask them for tips on where to eat and you won't be disappointed) and services include free Wi-Fi, buffet breakfast and a shelf full of books you can borrow. I'd stay at Rosso Frizzante any day.

The hotel is modern - a bit lacking in soul (nothing at all Italian about it unless you see it as an example of futuristic architecture) but cheap and was a good base for visiting Modena and Bologna. They also set up a Balsamic tasting session which went fine. The only downside is that is it in a rather boring... More
