Spent $46.50 for a mid year Christmas lunch. Was so utterly disappointed with the food choice. Had the buffet. The selection was salad, salad and more salad. The desert selection was so basic not appealing at all. Cold crumbed fish and cold tiny baked potatoes. I was really disappointed with the service in the restaurant. we were only asked if... More

Dear Guest Thank you for taking the time to post a review about our Christmas lunch menu. We have served a large number of these lunches and dinners this year and have had great comments about the food, so I am very disappointed to hear that your experience was not up to standard. Our Group Food & Beverage Manger would... More

Stayed here for a few nights in June 2015. The rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel staff friendly. Hotel location are fantastic. We walked to the Sylvia Park Mall within 10 minutes and there you can catch the train to all stations. It is safe and the hotel settings are beautiful with a view on the the Mt Wellington volcano.... Stayed here in June overnight with a work group. The lady on reception who I dealt with was very good, as I was trying to decide whether or not to get my own room rather than pairing with a work colleague. She gave me a few options and was very helpful. The only problem was she didn't give me directions... More

Have stayed here a few times and was amazed that internet isn't free, for such a nice motel. I paid $9.95 for 24 hours access. Good in every other way . Nice and close to walk to Sylvia Park ( 10 mins walk)

On this visit we booked in for three nights over Christmas. Once again, the hotel delivered, with good value rooms, friendly and helpful staff and the convenience of being close to Sylvia Park shopping centre. The parking is free and the views out to the Panmure Basin make you feel you are a long way from Auckland's horrific traffic.

We stayed for one night in the bureau queen room. it was spacious, modern and really comfortable. it had two double beds, a bath and shower in the bathroom, in house movies (pay per view) And we had a gorgeous view of the lake. (which we requested) We ordered from the room service menu, the food was amazing! and the... More

Had 2 nights here and haven't stayed here for about 10 years. The rooms are fine, not great. Very similar to an Ibis hotel which is functional rather than luxurious. However, the service from reception to meals was much better than the average hotel. I had the buffet one night and a la carte the second. Once again the buffet... More

This is a lovely location and a great hotel. Staff helpful and friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. Nice setting and facilities. We had a party going on on the floor above us one night, but calling reception they were very helpful and we happy to speak to the guests on the floor above and get things a bit more under... More

This was our 3rd stay at Waipuna Hotel & Conference Centre. Big rooms with great bathrooms. We included breakfast in our stay which was very well provided at the restaurant. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful in printing out transport and directions for a day's outing that I wanted to do on the other side of Auckland. Taxis... More
