I arrived with two others expecting three beds found a queen and a double. It was quickly rectified, all beds were very comfortable. An amazing large shower and a bath. Once we had worked out you had to have your key in a slot (not obvious) all your switches would work. They didn't have enough cups for the three of... More

If you want a great hotel, with friendly staff, a quiet location and free parking, then this is the place to stay. We had a gallery room overlooking the lagoon and it was delightful. The staff will do all they can to accommodate your requests. Unfortunately, Auckland had a blackout while we were there so we had to take our... More

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend marriage conference recently. I hadn't been here in about 30 years so my memories of the place were pretty dated to say the least! We were very pleasantly surprised to find it was a lovely place to stay with very nice facilities. Sitting on the Panmure Basin (a tidal lagoon), it's... More

My wife and I had a weekend conference to go to, as we decided to stay on site. The room was pleasent, we had a wonderful view over the estuary and beyond. We didn't try the room-service, it was more cost efficent for us to venture out to the local area for our meals. Room service did a wonderful job... More

One night stay in business do having a good bed is important when I'm not so interested in the other facilities. The bed with quite bad, springs driving into my back being the worst aspect. The pillows were cheap and not the quality or lesser hotels. Breakfast was average. Dry bacon and the usual buffet spread - nothing special except... More

We were looking for something in the city on a very busy night and all was full when we found WaIpuna Hotel & Conference Centre. Loved the outlook and the big size of the rooms, plus the mini-bar was a reasonable price which encouraged us to use it. The staff were all very pleasant and very helpful. The free car... More

Always stay here with my kids when we want a weekend away. Love their deals, the rooms and the buffet breakfast! The buffet dinner wasnt that great for the price per head. Could've had a bit more variety. And it would be very nice if they'd have ice-cream on the dessert menu...especially if you have kids. But overall always love... More

My daughter and I recently had the pleasure of our first stay at Waipuna Hotel and were nothing less than impressed! The hotel is impeccably presented (some floors are currently being refurbished - ours was already done it would seem) and is spaciously laid out which is a nice change in a hotel. The outlook over the lagoon is a... More

I was visiting for a conference and stayed as well. I had a ground floor room, nice size with two big beds and a bathroom with a huge shower (good water pressure) and also a bath. Without heating the room felt slightly cold which I liked because I prefer to heat to my preference rather than try and sleep in... More
