Noted some negative reviews about isolation .... so!!!! Yes it is in the middle of no-where - isolated - I would have said rural ... but it wasn't an issue at all .... but that's the beauty of this hotel - Northumbrian Straits on one side and the Atlantic on the other - the room was spotless, well laid out... The location is very isolated with no amenities nearby (i.e., within 30 minutes drive). Since only breakfast is provided, you will be driving a significant distance for meals etc. Room was not very comfortable (bed was hard, no TV, etc.). Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beach / scenery was fairly nice but not worth the drive.

Booked and stayed at this Inn for our daughters wedding in July. The grounds are beautiful but there was not much else nice I could say about this place. It is very remote, you have to drive 30 miles one way for food because they only serve a continental breakfast. Advertising on their website is false, they DO NOT serve... More

What an incredible weekend we had at the inn!! The setting exceeded our expectations and the service was second to none!!! Rooms are beautiful and full of amazing furniture, and the ocean view is worth the upgrade!!! It was stunning! My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!! Thank you to the staff for your attention to detail!! We... More

We stayed in late August for 3 nights and really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. A great place to get away from the worries of the world. We stayed in a basic room for 2 nights and then transferred to a premium one for 1 night. The basic difference is the enhanced view from a private balcony, bath robes and hot... More

The Inn is not actually in Souris it is in Little Pond a 22 km away from that village. It is also about 10 km away from the Inn at Bay Fortune it's sister property. It is in a beautiful rural agricultural/shore front setting but be prepared to spend a good deal of time driving as there is just not... More

We had a surprise 80th birthday party for my mother with 15 people in attendance. My parents had just arrived from Magdelene Islands and stopped at The Inn at Spry Point for lunch. The party was a total success. The setting was beautiful. The service fantastic (friendly, accommodating, flexible). The food was very good. A beautiful cake was ordered beforehand.... More

We went to PEI from Toronto for a wedding. Before we went to the west end of the island we visited the East Shore. The inn is situated on a point of land surrounded on 3 sides by the ocean. The building and the grounds are simply beautiful. Country elegance I would call it. The rooms are very warm and luxurious. Whirlpool... More

We stayed at the Inn at SP for 2 nights, and overall it was quite pleasant. The rooms are nice, clean, and nights are quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The point it's on has a great beach and lovely views. Downside: there is nothing spectacular about the decor --in fact it's pretty pedestrian throughout (very basic bathrooms, breakfast... More

The Inn at Spry Point is in a beautiful setting, but it's extremely isolated. While it's new and fresh, we much preferred staying at its sister property, the Inn at Bay Fortune. The latter has been around for a long time and is a classy place with a fabulous gourmet restaurant. Here are the plusses and minuses of Spry Point:... More
