Paulina, was always helpful and went out of her way make things comfortable during our stay. She would provide us with rooms at the back of the lodge away from a14, would check the traffic upon request and would allow to use the microwave to warm our food.

Whilst the Travelodge is fine on the inside, exiting the A14 and more so re-joining the A14 is quite a tricky endeavour. Take food with you, there is no café/restaurant nearby. Staff are great, bed was comfy.

Entrance from A14 to Travelodge is un-nerving, once inside, it is like any other travelodge, it could actually be better than some others! Inviting & helpful staff. Cambridge service is nearby by car for eating etc. On the whole, this served my purpose well. Problems included very slow Wifi, loose bathroom fittings & soft-close toilet seats would have been better... More

Access to this hotel is not easy - through a disused petrol station. Hotel was clean and well maintained. No lift to first floor. Rooms spacious but very little furniture. No easy chair. Separate bathroom with small bath and very weak shower (on first floor). Internet reasonably fast but only 45 minutes free - not good. Beds very comfortable. Noise... More

Staying for just two nights whilst visiting our son and family prior to Christmas. Friendly greeting, room clean and tidy. Just slightly disappointed on the entrance and exit to the A14, and the fact of no eating establishment adjoining, but delighted with the stay. Lovely surprise of a Christmas card awaiting us from the Travelodge and staff, a lovely thought.

Stayed in Room 7 on 12th December 2015 and went to make a coffee and kettle was filthy inside with all brown scum/scale and had to go to reception to get it changed so not a good start. Later that night the wind was getting really gusty and blew the window open when it was supposed to be shut but... More

The approach to this Travelodge is through a hand car wash and the vista isn’t too welcoming. However, put any doubts aside. The guy on reception, Murak, I think his name was, was exceptionally professional, friendly and helpful. The hotel and our room were spotlessly clean, the bed was really comfortable and the view from our room overlooking the rear... More

The room was warm and clean but you must take into account this travelodge is on the busy A14 and you have to drive through a derelict garage forecourt, that is now an Eastern European hand car wash, and a derelict Resturant is also on the site. The access to this hotel is very bad, particularly in the dark. The... More

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights from 30th Sept 2015 to 3rd Oct 2015. On the last night the room next door (number 31) was occupied by people with a dog. They were very noisy. When I left the next day I had a puncture in one of my wheels. Draw your own conclusion. It was very difficult... More
