Convenient on the A14, I had a room at the rear of the hotel which meant no road noise, friendly and welcoming staff. Good value considering the price. However - the hotel is located behind a hand car wash forecourt and signage is very poor - plus getting off and on the A14 can be tricky especially at busy times

The travelodge is tucked away in an uninviting area behind a carwash and Fish and Chip shop. The welcome seemed formal. The room was far from clean (dust on floor and window lefdge). Also, no bathmat for the floor or bath, so distinct possibility of slipping while in the bath (negating the "Health and Safety" explanation given by the receptionist.

The hotel itself is fine and the room was lovely - very little noise from the busy road and very comfortable bed. The only issue was actually getting into the car park, driving through a seemingly abandoned petrol station forecourt (see other travellers' photos for a very accurate description) however would stay here again if in the area now that... As usual clean, tidy and friendly staff. However it is very easy to miss this hotel due to the appalling entrance though a working hand car wash. When it is open there are many people and stationary cars you have to thread your way though. When closed it is in pitch darkness. On leaving the Travel lodge there is a... More

The hotel itself is one of the best I have been to. We were checked in by a helpful and friendly lady. Our room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also clean but do be careful when getting in the bath as it was slippery and quite high, My 11 year old daughter struggled... More

If you want a normal Travelodge room, then this is ok, however if after a long drive and all you want to do is relax, have a meal, forget it. No restaurant on-site, no cooked breakfast, a box is offered but it's a aeroplane breakfast in a box. Point being, you have to drive to get a meal.

To start with this hotel has been refurbished and is clean ,tidy and well located from the A14 only 7 miles from the city of Cambridge.Finding it however is not easy at all,it is on the opposite side off the carriageway to Cambridge services, not accessible from the hotel,I would imagine this hotel was built with a little chef on site,however... Travelodge has vastly improved since the last time I visited. My problem appears to be the same as all the rest -it is so poorly signed that I completely missed it the first time & had to make a detour to find it. I know it was dark and I don't know what it would be like in the daylight.... More

Usual Travelodge facilities, no complaints...lovely big room, comfy bed etc etc etc. BUT...the access is appalling! Arriving after dark..Almost immediately after driving under a bridge, your attention is taken by the services signs on the other side of the dual carriageway and you miss the pitch black closed car wash with rutted tarmac and the empty, closed Fish and Chip...
