This Travelodge is fiendishly difficult to find, especially in the dark, and when you have missed it and driven past you are on a dual carriageway with a long drive back again. It is set back from the road behind other buildings and the sat nav will not take you to the door. Be well prepared in advance to pinpoint... More

This was the second time I had stayed at this hotel and I will be going back. I was wary of travelodge as their reputation had not always been good but I really could not fault the hotel. The service was fantastic and the room was spotless. All newly fitted.

For a 1 night stay this hotel was great just off the A14 and close enough for visiting our friends in Cambridge. The hotel is set back from a fish and chip shop and car wash not very picturesque but to be honest arriving on a cold windy night and once inside was neither here nor there. Check in was... More

You could hear the people in the room above walking around and dropping things. It sounded like they were going to fall through the ceiling and i couldnt sleep with the noise..The hotel was clean just thr noise was the main problem.

You have to look for this hotel to actually find it. You need to drive through a deserted petrol station, (now a busy hand car wash site by day), and behind a Fish and Chip / pizza shop. The car park was fairly large, for the size of the hotel and was dark and mostly empty. The guy on reception... More

Our car broke down on Friday, outside the Fish and chip restaurant opposite (which we visited and was surprisingly very good quality and very reasonable). The receptionist was happy to let me contact the AA from the foyer, and was happy for us to sit in the warm reception, during the long wait. Very friendly, time passed very quickly as... More

We were concerned that being close to the A14, the room would be noisy with the windows open (we like fresh air at night in the room) however it was surprisingly quiet - although we were at the rear of the hotel; it would be noisier at the front. The hotel has been very recently refurbished (Dec 14) and so... More

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. On our first night the room was very hot and we couldn't have a window open because of the thunder of traffic. The second night the windows had been left open during the day and it was much cooler and more pleasant. The first night we were east-bound and had trouble working out... More
