I stayed at this B&B based on all the good TA reviews. I read them- as you should read this! B&B is owned by a woman who keeps her house clean, no doubt. The fist morning we arrived at breakfast at her specified time (you better not deviate from that if you want to maintain pleasantries). She served a huge... More

LES CHALINETTES Our family rented this home (bed and breakfast) for the Christmas holiday week primarily due to to its proximity to Strasbourg. The house itself and the initial greeting by Mrs. Chaal were encouraging, but then on our second morning we all overslept due to jet lag and were an hour late for the agreed 9 am breakfast. At... This small and charming bed and breakfast was exactly what we expected in a small French town such as Fegersheim. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Across the street from the B&B is a small park with a pathway to the village. The B&B is located a short drive from Strasbourg and can easily be used as a... More

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Les Chalinettes for two nights in September, and how I wish it had been for many more! We had a beautiful room, which was beautifully decorated, large and spotlessly clean - it even had a walk-in closet. The bathroom was great with many nice amenities. Large bed and a... More

We loved our stay in the Garden Side room. The room was extremely clean which is so important to us. We felt very much at home. Marie-Paule made us feel so welcome, answering all our questions. The breakfast was more than enjoyable as the food was delicious and the couple we sat with were so nice! We were able to... More

On our last visit to Alsac, my daughter and I missed visiting the Maginol Line so on this trip, we headed back to the east side of France, caught the Maginol Line (which was unbelievable) and headed to Les Chalinettes for the night. Marie-Paule treated us like her family coming in for another visit. As we had before, nice and... More

Very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Beautiful yard and gardens. Free Wi-Fi and Free parking. Although the parking was a bit tight with multiple guests and sometimes required moving a car to exit. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Gave excellent advice on finding a tram station to Strasbourg so that we could park our car at the station and take... More

We try to find nice B&B's to stay at as they always add a nice "culture" to our visits in a foreign country. I measure my "liking" of a B&B on the cleanliness of the rooms (especially the bathroom), convenient location, good local restaurants and a wonderful breakfast. Les Chalinettes had all four plus one more...Marie-Paule. She is a wonderful... More

I'm often in Strasbourg and would not choose anywhere else to stay (though having a car helps). The rooms are comfortable and way cheaper than in the city centre, breakfast is very good and the timing of it very flexible, convenient for an early start. There is a nice garden for the warmer season, a great local restaurant nearby, and,... More

I stayed at Les Chalinettes for 10 days in May-June 2012. What a wonderful welcome I received! Marie-paule met me at Strasbourg, & during my stay she was very helpful with tourist information etc. Her breakfast table was full of fresh fruit, bread, croisants & great coffee each day. The rooms are spacious, clean & well designed: very comfortable, &... More
