This property is literally in the middle of nowhere and you can easily get lost trying to find it but it was really worth the effort when we eventually did find it. It's a beautiful building and very well looked after. It's so old with creaky floors but this only adds to the character of the place. Our room was... More

We arrived just too late for food on a Sunday (they finish serving at 2), but Mel was really helpful in recommending us another local pub we could eat at. We definitely intend on staying here when we're back in this beautiful part of the country!

Just had a first rate sunday roast at the Cridford Inn, Trusham. Excellent food and friendly professional staff. The roast beef melted in your mouth along with the perfect selection of vegetables. Puddings were divine and all home made. Prices are very resonable considering the quality of their product! This beautiful thatched long house is hidden away along a narrow... More

Picturesque pub, roses growing up the wall, tucked away village location but only a few miles to the A38 and about 7 miles to Exeter. Nice to find a pub that has not lost it's character or become a gastro pub. This is a traditional, friendly pub (there is a restaurant) serving pleasant food at reasonable prices. Main courses start... More

Wonderful back of beyond inn/restaurant/b&b. The bubbly staff made you feel most welcome from booking through to check out. The rooms are priced exactly right but the quality of the food was remarkable, fresh sea food, locally sourced and deliciously prepared. The evening meal is not the main event, following a great nights sleep being woken softly by the cockerel... More

Great stay great hosts Tracey is super friendly great breakfast great room we had family room the single bed is comfortable enough for an adult. Park just up road for kids and if the village is having a barn dance I would fully recommend joining in.

We went for an evening meal whilst we were in the area on holiday with my Mum in Law. The Inn is set in a small mountain village in Devon. It is lovely and artfully decorated with a rustic country charm. The Landlady was attentive and customer focussed but also chatty and friendly. We had great service and lovely food... More

It was our second stay at the Cridford Inn and the standard of food, accomadation and hospitality was as excellent as the first ! Such a pity that the pub was so quiet , even for a weekend , which detracted slightly from the atmosphere . Would still recommend and visit again though!

Tranquil, beautiful setting with a warm welcome from the staff. Excellent menu providing good portions and credit to the chef who cooked our meal excellently. We enjoyed lamb steaks and seafood selection for our main meals followed by chocolate brownie with honey and Jack Daniels ice cream dessert. Highly recommend.

The pub looks great, loads of character out and in. Menu good (not too extensive which is a good sign), beer very good (only 2 ales on draft) kept well. The food was super. Shame it was so quiet. A Wednesday evening. Being out of the way in a little village, it's a destination pub/restaurant - worth the trip though.

Thanks for your review. It is very quiet at the moment ,and that's a shame ,as the drive out here is so beautiful .And the lovely part is that customers coming out at the end of May will have the opportunity to see the lovely roses on the front of the building. More
