If you are looking for five star luxury then this place is not for you. But if you are looking for a clean, comfortable spot in a great location then read on. Maya Bell is right in the jungle and close to the Palenque ruins. We had a room with private bath. It had the best shower and most comfortable... More

This place is perfect for adventurers. You are gonna sleep in the actual jungle. You can choose a treehouse, hut or tent. We slept in the hut. In the night you gonna recall all the jungle movies you saw (tarzan, maugli, indy etc.) The hut was clean with private bathroom and shower. Very appreciated. You can also choose public showers.... I camped here with my wife my friend staye in the cheapest room. The place is fantastic. The room looked nice the common bathrooms are good and have war water all the time. The food in the restaurant is cheap and great, super value especially that far from any other options. And the best is the location. The closest place... More

When we arrived at this place we were greeted by a very rude lady on reception who was no help at all. Eventually after 10mins of explaining I have made a reservation and being spoken too like something she had found on her shoe my reservation was found on the computer. The rooms were very average pool looked it hadn't... More

We stayed here as part of a G Adventures Tour in a Cabana in the rainforest. The place had a chilled out vibe - breakfasts were good - evening meals a little basic but OK. There was music in the evenings and the hotel was in a nice "rainforest" location. The pool was disgusting, dirty & had not been cleaned... More

It is a beautiful place to stay and only few minutes walk from the palenque ruins. Nice pool, rooms, bar and with howler monkeys in the backyard. Remember to bring a flashlight, there is completly Dark in the evening and alot of frogs everywhere

I stayed here in June 13 with my wife. The overall room quality was about 1 star. Unfortunately it was raining heavily and we had a leak in our room which soaked our bed clothes. We complained but the room offered was not much better. The reception lady was terrible in dealing with the issue. The food overall was poor... More

This place has its plusses and minuses. It is within walking distance of the ruins at Palenque, the rooms are fairly large, there is a pool, the bartender makes great drinks, and you may hear/see wildlife during your stay. On the other hand, the food was expensive and blah, the pool needed cleaning and was too warm, and the door... More

Being the closest hotel to the Palenque ruins, you can walk home at the end of the day of exploring. The pool is very refreshing in the heat, but could use a thorough cleaning. We stayed in an economy room, which was great, but the bathrooms are like your average campground... no toilet seats, no toilet paper, useless shower curtains,... More
