The Hotel La Aldea is located on the road to the ruins of Palenque. It is a convenient location which allows you to go to ruins very easily. Besides, the hotel is nice with very spacious rooms in bungalows and all necessary facilities. We enjoyed spending two nights here checking out this morning. The hotel is a bit rough with nice duplex cabana rooms and a restaurant. This was quite nice! It was a joy to have a spacious room with a large bathroom and great shower. Having a hammock hanging on the front porch was a treat as were the gardens with Guinea fowl strolling around. more
