We stayed 2 nights here with a group of 30 grown-up tourists from Finland. In spite of the fact, that this compound is not very modern, we liked our stay here. Bungalow-style accommodation has its own charm. There is not very much to see in the vicinity, as described in other ratings. But never mind, you can make the jungle... More

Although the room looked OK to begin with, considering the hotel is located at the edge of the jungle/rain forest, my wife woke me up at 02:00 complaining she could feel things crawling on her. When we turned on the light, the whole bed was alive with bed bugs. We brushed them off each other, dressed and went to the... More

This 'resort' is just down the road from Palenque ruins. There's nothing around it, except other hotels. It's a short drive from the main town. It's quite large with a couple of swimming pools (which we didn't try) and attractive gardens. We arrived quite late and the heavens opened and remained so for the entire night and following morning -... More

The rooms are very smelly, dirty and worn down. And so are the bathrooms. I did not like the athmosphere of that place. No soul, no service, no nothing! Even the sofas in the reception area were old and filthy and the restaurant didn't look comfy and welcoming. It's only for big tourist buses, that only stay for a night... More

Cute, cozy bungalows in forest like setting. 2 swimming pools which kept kids busy in the evenings. Restaurant has limited option for food. The rooms are good and comfortable. Internet only in the lobby area. Pool area is the best part of the hotel. Some staff members are really nice but some not so friendly. Lot of greenery in the... More

Close to the Mayan ruins at Palenque it is ideal spot to stay, rooms not too bad, wifi in lobby only and decent breakfast. We went into town for evening meal so didn't use the restaurant. Shame they didn't open the main bar but there was a small bar in the restaurant. Swimming pools ok, but a bit chilly!

Pool is fabulous, garden are very nice. Rooms, as other reviewers have said, are dark and basic, but for the cost they are reasonable value. The restaurant is not brilliant The food was average at best. Service was okay. As a base for visiting the ruins it couldn't be better placed - only a 10 minute drive. Service wasn't great,... More

Honestly, I don't understand why people are disappointed with this place. For us it was absolutely perfect! - profesional staff - nice, very clean, spacious rooms with kings size bed, own patio with chairs and a table, new tv, ventilator and air conditioning. - the rooms actually look nicer in reality than on the picture and they are adequate to... This place was made to cater for the large number of tourists visiting Palenque pyramids. The hotel is resort style with a large pool. Nothing around the hotel except other hotels, farmland and bush. The room we stayed in was a hut. Sparsely furnished and dark. Bathroom was horrible because of the dangerous drop in levels and sharp tiles. Mosquitos... More

Stayed here for one night on Exodus's La Ruta Maya tour. The setting and the villas look nice around the pool but the rooms and bathrooms were very basic - a bit like a 1950's holiday camp. The margaritas were good and the food was okay but the hotel was almost empty, just one group of French tourists besides us.... More
