I stayed for two nights and thought this place was great. My room was huge with two double beds, a balcony with chairs and a lovely view over the jungle, and a powerful shower with hot water. The owners were wonderfully friendly and helpful although didn't speak much English (not a problem as I speak Spanish but may be if... More

We have chosen this hotel cause of the good recommendation in this portal. We entered the hotel area and were very impressed, it looked very lovely. However, the reality took us down. The reception gave us only the key, all further information we had to ask. In general, we felt unwelcome except of the girl at night of departures day,... More

This hotel is really far from the town rush but still close to the historical park. The place is wonderful. U have buses taxi every 10 min from the centre/bus station/historical park to that hotel for 20 pesos. The prize is fine - 30$ per night. Big room, a swimming pull and a really beautiful view. What we didn't like... More

We were put in Casa Lakyum after a double booking at El Colombre (run by the same management). The pool and views are amazing, the location is very good for access to the ruins and town via a collectivio. Breakfast was average and dinner was just about ok. Room was big and bathroom area was massive. Oscar was very helpful,... More

The grounds are beautiful, you are definitely paying for the view. The size of the room and balcony were very nice. At first the man at the desk seemed sincerely nice. We were told the room was 800 pesos (we were there in off season, which also made it feel a bit like a motel from a horror movie) and... More

Reviews for this hotel are scarce, so we took something of a gamble in booking it. I'm happy to say it was wonderful! Some caveats - it's out of town on the road to the ruins, so you need a car, there is no restaurant, and no TV or phones in the room. The wifi was not working while we... More

Muriel and Ginger made our stay fantastic, wonderful sources of info about Palenque,a must visit is Roberto Barrios cascades, ask for Fransisco as your guide. He was so friendly and knowledgable. Also Agua Azul was nice, but a little too touristy. Palenque was by far the favorite stay in Mexico

My husband and I spent 2 nights at this hotel on Dec 28 & 29. I wish I could rate this hotel as "very good" because it definitely has the potential to be: the grounds are very nice, it's in the middle of the jungle, lots of birds singing, a pretty pool area (mostly not used), and the room was... We got to the hotel by coincidence without any reservation. Adrian was really nice and gave us a warm welcome. Room was spacious and the property has the main services including Internet connection and a restaurant. A bit overpriced but considering the high season it was nothing unusual.

I arrived in Palenque without hotel reservations. I wasn't worried about finding accommodations because my timing was after Semana Santa and before the rainy season -- a time when there are few tourists and plenty of rooms are available. So I went up the hill toward the archaeological zone and happened upon this hotel after knocking at the door of... More
