Excellent location and very nice swimming pool. The gardens are well kept and beautiful and the rooms are relatively quiet, but there are some major gripes still; - Worst restaurant Ive encountered in ages. It took 3 hours to finish a dinner service, mostly due to absolute chaos ensuing when we tried to settle the bill - Airconditioning unit aimed... More

We where in this hotel in 1994 and booked again because they claimed the whole hotel was completely renovated in october 2013. On entering our room we noticed that nothing was changed and the a/c was making as mutch noise as in 1994. We complained....they made us wait 2 hours, only to tell us that the a/c was working normal... More

This hotel is located just outside Palenque. And that is a pro: palenque town is a bit of a mess. Jungle gardens, beautiful rooms (new part!!!) and friendly staff. Hotel pool offers a bar with nice cocktails. The hotel restaurant, Don Manuel, offers good food and, again, has friendly staff. Only downside: vegetarian options are....not really meals! Steamed veggies are... More

We - 2 adults + 1 child - were staying there for two nights. Pros: - Service OK. - Good location and surroundings. - Restaurant OK. Cons: - The room was dank, unpleasant, with bad smell, mold on a wall - Not cosy - too big - Expensive laundry service

This hotel is not fancy, but the rooms are clean and the staff is GREAT. The hotel is spread out over a couple of acres in a park like setting. The front desk person, Rudy", speaks great English and is super-duper helpful. If you don't speak Spanish, then you might want to consider this hotel. Rudy worked in the states... More

We so enjoyed our stay at the Nututun Hotel in Palenque. The grounds consisting of several acres were beautiful located outside of town in the jungle. They didn't even have many mosquitoes. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful, especially Rudolfo who manned the front desk. He was friendly, spoke english, always had time for us, and... More

This hotel has various levels of rooms, owing to its six buildings spread out over several acres of garden. The rooms aren't anything special but the gardens and the river are nice, as is the open palapa lobby. The really nice thing is that after driving for six brutal hours over bruising, washed out, speed bump filled roads(from San Cristobal)'... More

We didn't expect much. It was the cheapest hotel in three weeks Mexico, but it was absolutly amazing! The lovely pool and waterfront and the great staff. The restaurant has a very nice view and when we arrived we saw (and heared) the monkeys. Great wildlife next to your room. The rooms are a bit ols, but very clean and... More

A restful setting after a long journey from Uxmal via Campeche (interesting walk from Town Gate to Sea Gate). Apart from the river setting the hotel has pools and residential blocks are spread around pools. Rooms are clean, staff friendly, and setting deligthtful. We had a lovely fish meal cooked in foil, with excellent coffee. Breakfast was a set menu... More
