The quality of the room is good even if the bathrooms could be renewed. The cabins are really in the jungle so you get the full experience however they are all gathered in a group of 6 cabins so you don't get the intimacy you might expect. I would recommand this hotel.

Right at the gates to the national park. We just had to stand on the highway and flag down a passing collectivo and were at the site within 5 minutes. We chose a cabin with a private bathroom. Toilet and shower worked fine. No a/c but lots of windows and a fan. Slept to the sound of birds, insects and... More

We booked a twin private Cabana for just over 150 peso per person per night. The place was basically empty except for us and one other family. It looked as if the property had seen better days - the 'canteen' was very much not open for example, but this didn't really worry us. Good location as well - across the... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. It is nice and calm, and very enjoyable to be out of the city! It is very close by the archeological site, and still very quiet. If you enoy being in a natural environment, without being far from civilisation, this is a great place. I personally really enjoyed the wake up call... More

This site is set halfway between Palenque town and the entrance to Palenque ruins. Cabanas are dotted around the site in sets of 3. There is also a larger building which has rooms with verandas. They were clean and well screened from insects, had a fan, and the site itself is rustic and quite pretty. Its set next to the... More

The cabins at Kin Balam are a good value. The location is nearly ideal, across from the Panchan, where you can eat and listen to live music at Don Mucho's, and at the Palenque park entrance where you can get a 20 peso van ride to the archaeological site entrance. The cabins themselves are pretty bare bones, but clean and... More

We (3 persons) stayed for 2 nights in one of the cabanas. The room was simple but clean. There where small amounts of funghi in the bathroom, but I suppose it's really hard to maintain a bathroom under such high air humidity. What's quite nice is that there are mosquito nets on every window. You can hear the monkeys and... More

Simple and rustic accommodations just outside the entrance to the reserve and ruins. It's quiet and beautiful, and the staff is great. You can rent a simple screened cabana with a thatched roof and shared showers, or a little more substantial room with a private bath. Full time power, but A/C and hot showers don't exist. But who cares, you... More

We arrived there at 5.30am after an overnight bus, and the howler monkeys were screaming their heads off. It was pitch black and there were bugs everywhere. Reception was closed so we had to wait outside for an hour and a half for someone to arrive and let us in. There are no kitchen facilities there, which forces you to... More

Dear Michael, our apologies for not attending you at your arrival. We are doing the corresponding sanctions to the staff that should be there. Regarding internet we do not offer it, neither restaurant service. Across the road there are other food and beverage facilities. Our shared bathrooms needs constant cleaning due they are in the jungle, and some insects -although... More
