First impression is of a tropical paradise, the pool area looks amazing. Bottles of water were expensive and poolside cocktails in a polystyrene cup was a bit off putting. Things didn't really get better with the restaurant being expensive and the food quality was below average. (Service was good) The room lacked a fridge and a safe. The bed was... More

The cabins are roomy, with good baggage space, fans and air con. staff helpful. pool is amazing and includes a deep part (25m) in which one can really swim in addition to the larger, shallower area. Howler monkeys in the trees. Restaurant is pricey for the area but the food was good enough for us to eat dinner there 3... More

I visited Chan-Kah for the first time last year with my girlfriend. Being our first time we immediately fell in love with the place. The concept of having ecological cabins in the middle of the jungle was pretty good. The pool and its unique design gave it a paradise-like atmosphere. We continued visiting the hotel almost once a month because... More

I love staying in the comfortable cabañas surrounded by the huge trees as if I were in the middle of a selva, the swimming pool is a pure paradise, and the territory is so big that one can spend a true escape from social life there!

We stayed one night at this hotel. It was empty and we could see that during a weekend or high season it would be packed with bus loads of tourists. The rooms are very well designed for travelers. They are all the same and there plenty of them. The rooms are spacious with lots of shelves for luggage. They were... More

In the middle of the jungle you get to see incredible birds and the famous howling monkeys (if you have binoculars bring them we even saw 2 babies grabbed to mum). The gardens are incredible, a pleasure to walk... But with this wildness comes unusual night guests in the room; we shared our space with a couple of geckos (on... More

4 ½ stars. Easy to find off the main road heading to the pyramids. Beautiful and lush gardens with walkways. Very nice swimming pool. The bungalows are a little rustic but they provide for a traveler’s needs—bathroom, shower, closet, vanity with sinks, tv, good beds and a couple of rocking chairs out in the patio. There is a game room,... More

This hotel is close to the park entrance and is made up of lots of cabins in the jungle. Our cabin was standalone and faced the little stream. We could sit outside and relax and watch the wildlife (lots of iguanas and some agouti, we didn't see the howler monkeys but could hear them). The cabin is of large size,... More

Our family really enjoyed our few days here. We loved the setting in the jungle. The pools were a hit with the kids and were really refreshing after a sweltering day at the ruins. The proximity to the ruins was a huge plus as well. Our cabin was comfortable and clean, although it could use a little updating if all... More

We had a great stay at this hotel with the family!!! We were pleasantly surprised with the cabanas! The settings of the cabanas were nice, the food was good and the kids loved the pool! You can even hear some wildlife at night :-))
