cheap accommodation in the jungle, stayed in a AC room. room was basic & clean. being right in the jungle you experience the sounds & insects first hand. very close to the ruins, which is a short bus ride away. more

The worst place where I slept all the Chiapas: and the worst owner.Maybe it should change jobs because he can't deal with customers (mainly Italians). Very cheap (€ 9 the double in advance), but I recommend paying a little more 'for another place.... and then do not say that you were not been warned! more

If you want something non-turistic, Margarita & Ed's Cabanas (right inside El Panchan) is the place for you. You will stay literally in the jungle! Different room types, cabanas or air conditioned rooms with private bathroom. We chose one of the latters: big, comfortable and clean! Only problem with the owners, who are extremely unkind and kept us waiting for... more
