We stayed just 2 nights in this hotel but would have loved to stay more. Helena and Pepe are extremely welcoming hosts. The hotel was rebuilt a couple of years ago from the ruins of an old village house and it's beautifully done, a mixture of the original stone and clean modern wood and glass. Helena and Pepe were very gently hosts and did everything for us to give us the best - even good long beds and ideas for hiking and to visit :-). Best Greetings to Helena and Pepe from the first Danish guests in Posada La Almazuela from A&M Denmark

Combine: - a couple of great hosts - Helena and Pepe - very tasty local food dishes with the freshest ingredients prepared in a gourmet fashion by Pepe - incredible natural surroundings - mountains, forests, rivers, waterfalls - great tranquility - this area of Spain is far from the crowds (even the local Spanish crowds) all in the beautiful warm... After a period of hard work we decided to visit the north of Spain. We started at Bilbao, and then took of to Montenegro de Cameros. The hotel is lovely and the owners gave us a very warm welcome!
