My wife and I spent 48 hours in this amazing hotel. It comprises 2 buildings, the old traditional Bündner farm house, which has been wonderfully restored in a manner that brilliantly juxtaposes the traditional and the modern, and a modern 2 floor curved wing built on--and into--the hillside. We stayed in one of the Terrace Junior Suites in the modern... More

We stayed at this romantic and truly beautiful hotel in early September. We love the outdoors, great food, and low-key luxury - and In Lain was just spectacular on all accounts. The hotel, located in the sleepy village of Brail, was beautifully designed with cedar wood and stones all around. Our room had a patio with reclining chairs and table... More

The location of the establishment, right on the main road to St Moritz is a little disappointing, if you expected something more secluded. Here, walking from your room to the sauna area is in plain view, and along, a rather busy autoroute. we however had a superior room facing away from the road, and the mountain view in front of... This is our first time in Switzerland and this hotel was recommended by a Swiss college of my husband. I was a little apprehensive but it far exceeded our expectations. The location is so beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly. We were welcomed very warmly and looked after very well. The rooms were beautiful and food was really good.... More

A wonderful mountain landscape provides the backdrop to this beautiful inn in the valley of Engadine. This peaceful, silent and hospitable spot is the work of a family whose members have, for several generations, coupled their complementary talents perfectly to each other. Whether hotelier, cook, or carpenter, what is most important to them is to focus all their efforts on... More

My husband and I stayed at the In Lain Hotel for two weekends with our 2 month old baby. Everyone was extremely welcoming and obliging and made us feel at home. Unlike in many other places, our baby was not considered a nuisance and the staff always took care of our special (baby) needs. The rooms were spectacular and clean.... More

Years ago, when I lived in Geneva, I had experienced the quality of swiss family hotels. I just rediscovered the importance of family run hotels. I have witnessed how the constant presence of the owners ( and the parents of the owner ) make a huge difference in the excellence of a hotel. In this case, the family tradition goes... More

Really nice hotel in the beautiful Enguardian Vally. Perfect location for exploring the High Mountain Passes of the region. Extremely nice owners, personal service and a lovely hotel designed in every detail. Very beautiful and tastefull. Excellent gourmet dinner in the restaurant Vivanda. Every detail was perfect, including the personalised “news paper” at the breakfast and the service from the... More
