This restaurant was highly recommended by locals. Local food, beautifully presented. We each ordered three course menu with wine....about $200 total. I asked for coffee, but they had no cream. We waited over 45 minutes for our check and that came only after several requests. This poor ending ruined what might have been an expensive, but pleasant evening,

+ Walking distance from everything you want to see, Close to the Church. The main building handsomely rehabilitated. Great atmosphere. Superb breakfast With almost all local produce of cheeses and meat, local sour milk and fruit and cereals. The beds were good, and the shower worked really well and was quite big. The pub, Berkel and Pub, was excellent, and... More

Great place to stay if your visiting Roro's. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a queen bed, bunk beds and sleeper couch with full kitchen. Worked great for a family of 5. Best breakfast ever! lots of meats and cheeses, cold and hot cereal. eggs and sausages. all different kinds of breads and fresh fruit. All included in your... More

This is a landmark hotel in a place that's a landmark in itself. A lot of thought and effort has been put into the hotel's restoration, with keen attention to the history of both the buildings and Røros. Unfortunately that attention did not extend to its guests during our stay. There is no reception - after prowling around the busy... More

Hi Nina Thank you for taking the time to write a review about the Vertshuset Røros. Your feedback is very important and helpful to us and we will try our best to approve our service - both in the hotel and the restaurant. Just one little explanation regarding the non-existing small soaps: our hotel is certified as an environmental friendly... More

This time we stayed at the Uldvarefabrikk. New, nordic and trendy rooms. Light and airy. Lovely view. The flat was lacking a few important kitchen facilities..but otherwise fine. Friendly staff, some summer temps...but give them a few weeks and they will be well into the routine.

We stayed one night in this charming inn, recommended to us by a friend in Trondheim. There are rooms in various small old outbuildings and more in a large new building at the rear, where our room was. It was a very large suite, with a kitchen and dining area, sitting area, queen bed, and nice full bathroom. More space... More

Like a Kinder-egg...food, beer and acommodation. We only came to visit the tavern at the evening to taste the local beer. They served us good local and imported beer. The local beer they made themselves in their cellar(Røros bryggeri og mineralvannfabrikk). Excellent service and nice people!

This is a very excellent hotel. The rooms are in old locations, but very modern. But they have kept it very traditional. Amazing. A very good restaurant where you get local Food made very tasty. Nice breakfast. Very good service

I stayed here in relation to a conference in Røros for one week. The hotel is part of the world heritage - as is most of Røros. According to some brochure I found in the hotel, the house was part of Rammgården (kind of farm) which dates back to 1600. Of course, since then things have been restored and new... More
