I booked this resort based on all the positive reviews I read here on Tripadvisor. Here's my story and my own honest opinion. My husband and I booked Coral Blue Oriental Resort for two nights then three nights in Anika because we want to try out both resorts. Despite the negative reviews on Tripadvisor for Coral Blue we had a... More

This place is as beautiful as Boracay, as peaceful as Bohol. It is really such a treat to stay in this resort after a long travel from Manila. Rooms are clean and beautiful, I suggest you try to get the ocean view rooms. I can stay at the room's veranda for the whole day to relax. The service is very... More

From reservation by SMS until check-out, everything was seamless. Our group booked our 3 rooms separately and we all experienced something in common - excellent customer service from the staff of Anika Island Resort. They were very responsive and pro-active - even calling us a few hours prior our scheduled arrival to ask how we are, where we are, our... More

It's a little bit of a journey from Cebu City to Bantayan (approx 6-7 hours) but it's so worth it - Bantayan is a fantastic Island. It was sadly hit very hard by Typhoon Yolanda in Nov '13 is is still very damaged but thankfully Oxfam and other aid agencies are slowly repairing the island. Bantayan may be too quiet... More

After typhoon Haiyan, most of the resorts in Bantayan island were badly damaged. Anika, amazingly, looks unscathed. The rooms are very very clean and well decorated. The staff is mostly friendly; though I didn't like how late the boatman was for our island hopping schedule. The staff in the reception area didn't seem to be coordinating well about our tour.... 3,000P for ocean view container room, but nicely done with large terrace. Good restaurant. Some construction noise, security guard likes to jap next to room 4. We did the island hop to virgin Island . More beach no fish no showers no food. Rentals 300P and up. a trip to peter and Paul church and shopping at the market. Please... More

My beloved and I visited mid-october in 2013. It was almost a year of planning and as a result our itenerary had become too-perfect-we-wish-to-visit-very-soon. The rooms are made from container vans. We originally planned to stay at Budyong but upon arrival we were told by the locales that Budyong wasnt in it's ideal condition during summer. The sandbar that we... More

Me and my wife's first time to travel to Bantayan. We booked a room here because it had the highest rating. When we got there, we weren't disappointed. We know that the rooms are from a shipping container and we thought it could be hot inside, but it wasn't. There is air conditioning of course. The room was small but... More

My husband and i stayed in this resort last November 2012 and we're dying to go back. In totality, the resort is awesome! It's one of the most pricey hotel (although price is still super affordable at 1,750) in Bantayan Island but, I tell you, IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! From reservation up to your check-out in the resort, they will... More
