Just had a lovely short break here, stayed in room 6, the guest house is clean, has comfortable beds, excellent breakfast; all local ingredients including double yolk eggs from the local farm, just right for starting the day. It is ideally located for trips to Beverley, Hull and surrounding area. Ian and Emma made us feel really welcome and if... More

I'm just home from a weekend in Yorkshire. The Burton Lodge is a clean friendly place to stay. The owner is in the process of refreshing the rooms. The one I stayed in (No 5 ) was clean and very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff and there was always a laugh and a joke.... More

We had a brief one night stay at Burton Lodge and stayed in the annexe while the main building is being updated. Our room was cosy and warm and our dog was permitted to stay too. The place was spotlessly clean. Absolutely nothing to complain about yet not wowed by it either. Very homely and it served our purpose for... More

Our first time at Burton Lodge but it will not be our last. A warm welcome awaited us and we were well looked after by Ian and Emma during our stay. We stayed in the Bothy which was a magical experience and we would certainly stay there again. Can't wait for the imminent hot tub experience. Great base from which... More

Escaped to the country for a repeat visit, the lodge was just as nice as last time. Although spring turned pretty arctic we were cozy inside and had a great night in Beverley with our hosts sorting out taxis etc Thank you

You can tell this is run by someone that cares about their business and I wish them every success taking it forward. The breakfast was excellent and the guest house did everything we needed for our short stay in the area. We could stay with our dog, Rosie in the annex building. Thank you.

This guest house is family run and has a great lodge on the grounds where we stayed. It is just across the garden from the main building but you get a sense of privacy. Lots of birds around and you can easily walk to the pub. The village is between Hornsea and Bridlington so good for day trips or walking.... More

stopped here on a business trip, just for one night. The room I had was very comfortable and very clean, moderately priced too. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and the proprietors were very helpful with ordering a taxi etc.

We stayed for one night while visiting my grandmother locally. Very pleasant stay with a very warm welcome on arrival. Room was bright, clean and modern with a lovely view of the large, well maintained grounds (even saw a grass tennis court on one side!). Delicious breakfast which was served very efficiently. Would definitely recommend, especially as it is such... More

Found this place by chance a couple of years ago on a business trip. The area is beautiful and rural but has a dire shortage of hotels . There are a couple of pub type accommodations in Beverley, 20 mins away but other than that, its head to Hull. Stayed here last in late winter just after Ian and Emma... More
