Spent a relaxing few days in this lovely old cortijo in beautiful country location. The peace and quiet was just what I needed . The breakfast was fab !!! With lots of choice and Anne's home baking was a delight. Cannot recommend this cortijio enough!! Thanks Jim and Anne .

Stayed here in October in this lovely old house wonderfully restored by Jim ,with lovely garden and fresh water pool. Breakfasts were plentiful and very relaxing. The rooms were beautifully dressed Anne,s department ,and the bed was so comfortable I slept like a log.  Hope to go back in the Summer and take advantage of the lovely big terrace and... More

This is one b&b you should not stay in and rush out just for sleep & bath. It's a sweet and lovely home for complete relax.

We stayed with Jim and Ann in August 2012. The villa is a beautifully and lovingly restored old farmhouse (a lot of the work was undertaken by Jim). Our room was the Seville room, a fantastic room overlooking the back garden, pool and olive groves. Breakfast was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for Ann. We were greeted with different... This was our second visit to the Cortijo Piedra. After our first visit we vowed to return and return we did. Arrival felt like a return of the prodigal son, minus the fatted calf of course. Anne and Jim were once again fantastic hosts and it felt as if we had not been away even though it was a year... More

This is the perfect place to take a break from work and enjoy the hospitality of the wonderful hosts. The place is simply charming and the hosts do their utmost to make one's stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast, served on the sunlit terrace, is exceptionally good, and the only thing one has to do is choose between going... More

Having initially been looking only for somewhere near Malaga to stay overnight to break up the journey to Granada I stumbled upon this place and thought it looked so nice I booked us in for two nights. Cortijo Piedra did not disappoint and we were rather sad were n' t staying longer. After getting lost and arriving late, Anne prepared... More

Wonderful boutique bed and breakfast, lovely rooms with charming decor, fantastic breakfast in wonderful terrace setting. Lots of nice touches that make the accommodation feel luxurious. The gardens are delightful and well maintained with lovely swimming pool. My daughter and I had a wonderful "chilling out" couple of days, but it is also a great place to be based to... More

Had a fantastic few days here. Jim and Anne go far beyond providing a lovely place to stay. The previous reviews say it all regarding the peace and beauty of the Cortijo but what make our holiday something special was that it was like staying with very good friends - Cannot thank them enough for the special treat provided for...
