We picked this site from the photographs on the Caravan Club site, and from the description of it being surrounded by lakes. Well, we were allocated a pitch which appeared to have lakes to the fore and aft, only to find that said 'lakes' were small patches of water almost totally hidden behind and beneath undergrowth. The site had a... More

We booked this site for 7 nights and were not disappointed. it was our first visit there. We were welcomed by Alexandra, who spoke very good English and we were given booklets, leaflets of places to visit and a plan of the site when we arrived. We were given a large corner pitch which was ideal. There was information about... More

This campsite is located in a small village and has approximately 60 touring pitches mostly grass with a few hardstanding for motorhomes. We arrived during lunchtime but Madame (Alexandra) kindly let us check-in; she speaks excellent English and has pre-typed instructions ready to the nearest Intermarché at Gauchy for fuel and provisions. The sanitary block is indoors and located in... More

We last stayed on this site about 20 years ago when the hedges separating the pitches were about 2 feet high and privacy was not great. Now they have grown to about 6 feet which naturally gives far greater privacy. We were on pitch number 45 which was large enough to give several options for siting the caravan. The electric... More

Spent a fortnight here on pitch 43. Very peaceful apart from people that bring their happy small dogs. The owners work extremely hard & are very helpful, their English is very good. A lovely little village which provided all the basics, we have had a wonderful time, researching where my grandfather fought during WW1 & end our trip visiting Ypres... More

We stayed here for 12 nights in May. Lovely facilities, cleaned regularly, owner has excellent English and always happy to help, spending a lot of time with us suggesting places to visit. Quiet site and lots of birds singing, fabulous cycle rides along the canal straight into Saint Quentin. Take mosquito repellent though as the lake attracts them and the... More

Pitch 16 what can I say. To get to the pitch you have to navigate parked cars, a hedge a tree when you get to the pitch you somehow have to turn your van around to get out. There are 2 ways of getting your car out, drive in and reverse all the way out or reverse in. Then someone... More

Dear Adriana, Thanks for your message. We're very sorry that you was not satisfied with your pitch. All our pitches are different and for everybody, sad that you didn't ask us to moove to another place if you really wanted to stay longuer. Hoping to see you another time. Best regards. More

We had a lovely quiet pitch (38) and so we had very few people passing by and enjoyed an uninterrupted view of the lake. The site is very peaceful and we could hear the fish jumping and the bells on the goats across the other side of the water. The sanitary facilities are clean and new-ish; there is paper and... More

A fantastic camping, we felt very welcome and the chalet was first class, the children enjoyed fishing and there are so many things to visit around! From all the war museums, trenches to numerous castles to relaxing walks around the village (Parcours botanique and Parcours santé) I would highly recommend it!

This was our last stop in France after 2 weeks in our vw camper. It is a well maintained clean and friendly site perfect for a relaxing , quiet stay. I would not recommend it for families with very young children, there is a lot of water and we got the distinct impression (in fact we were told by people... More
