I have been going to this lodge with my girlfriend and it has been our choice since then. It has a nice swimming pool and the compound is full of nature. The rooms are quite nice but they need some upgrade and maintenance.

Began as one of the best in Adama, but it has aged without much upkeep. Food is good and service is good. Slow WiFi but nice place for an afternoon break. Has a pool. Rooms also need a facelift. Nice lawn and trees.

What do I mean by that? For those travelers unaccustomed to Ethiopia's sometimes challenging environment, The Safari Lodge can provide an oasis of calm and tranquility in an ocean of mango trees and luxuriant foliage!! Horse rides for the kids too. Great food, cocktails and beautifully spacious rooms make for an all round great experience of luxury in the heart... More

We stopped here on the way from Awash to Addis. This hotel is quiet and has free WiFi- good start! We had lunch here and we were well impressed with the food quality. We had a few vegetarian dishes including shiro (25 min wait) and all were tasty. Price was reasonable, service good, really can't fault anything. For Ethiopian standards... More

This place I like it because they have bigger rooms than what the rest of hotels in the town can offer. The place is highly dense with fruit trees(mango trees) wich makes it look out of town somewhere in African jungle but you rarely get any juice at the lodge. The waiter with an eye glass is more energetic to... More

Adama (Nazret) is not a city for tourists, but if you're there on business and want some "touristy feeling" the Safari Lodge is a good option. It sits a short distance away from the main road, and the trucks can definitely be heard at nights. There are some mosquitoes and if your lucky a monkey or two. The pool is... More

I have been around the world and I have just one hotel, this place can compete with. This is Raffles in Singapore. Safari Lodge is calm, restful and nice place. Not to much people, nice employees and good food. Please try their pizzas. Wonderful, you can note have it in another place in Africa. The pool is nice, both outside... More

Why they call this place Safari lodge ? It is simply a hotel with pool and an ugly tower near the pool. And this in the middle of the town !!!The rooms are getting old but most of all , they are all dark by the low trees around. First thing you see by entering the compound is a warning... More

This 'resort' hotel in a large city is clearly intended to be a place to chill out by the pool for stressed Addis inhabitants. It fails, however, to achieve its aims, largely because it is all a bit run down and shabby, the pool looks to harbour quite a variety of water-borne diseases, and the rooms harbour a large collection... I rated Safari Lodge 'average' because there are lot they could improve to be a proper hotel, but in fact, I think it is one of the best hotels in Adama. It is off the main road and thus relatively quiet. Also, it is VERY GREEN! Lots of nice fruit trees. The room is very spacious with a living room... More
