Stayed here for a week on a climbing holiday. Location-wise, it's great and has some nice views. I was staying in a private room attached to the bunkhouse which was pretty small but clean. The communal area is spacious and great for getting to know fellow climbers. There is free wifi, but the signal didn't reach to the bunkhouse or... More

The climbing route with Juan ("Chief" of Finca la Campana) was the highlight of our climbing week in El Chorro. E great place for climbers, hikers and for people the are looking for recovery in the nature.

Great little home-style hotel. I stayed in the bunks and enjoyed the space and atmosphere. It was full of passionate climbers that only really want to talk about climbing when they're not planning climbing or getting ready to climb. Was solo but found it easy to find others who were willing to take me with them and the equipment rentals... More

I have stayed at the finca campana several times now, and every time I really enjoyed my stay!! It is a really relaxed place with for common use a clean, well equipped kitchen and a large living room. This is where I spend most of my evenings: cooking together with other people I met at the finca, and relaxing on... More

I stayed here whilst hiking the GR7. Perfect for my needs including food, drink and advice. The chef/barman's band practiced whilst I was eating his great stew - they were pretty good to be honest. Stunning setting and would have gladly stayed more than one night.

We (group of four) stayed over christmas and new year in one of their nicely renovated old houses (other houses can host between 2 and 6 people) and found it a really good place to stay for a climbing holiday. People from all over the world stay there and get in touch. The main climbing area, as the village itself,... More

The place is reasonably clean, people are nice and helpful, there is a good vegetarian cook on site who will cook you a healthy dinner and atmosphere is light. I was visiting in october and it is a bit too hot for some climbs, but you can find a shaded wall if you put your mind to it.

Finca La Campana is set in a wonderful location, amongst the olive groves just a short way out of the village of El Chorro. It seems to be reasonably popular with climbers of all nationalities, and has a friendly and very laid back atmosphere. The communal area is great to meet other people to climb with. Unfortunately, the place is... More

We are glad you enjoyed our friendly and laid back atmosphere. We agree our communal area has been a great place to meet people for the last 20 years. We are very pleased you had a great holiday with us in El Chorro. We have taken note of your comments. Our kitchen and facilities are cleaned on a daily basis.... More

A friend recommended Finca as they had stayed there a few years ago and said that the place was great. We stayed in one of the rooms next to the bunkhouse. The room itself was fine: clean, had adequate facilities. However, our main issue was with the kitchen, which was filthy when we arrived. There was no washing up liquid... More

Our kitchen and facilities are cleaned on a daily basis. November is a particularly busy time of year for us and there are times when our staff are working extra hard to keep our facilities clean and tidy. We contacted you directly through tripadvisor to discuss your comments but unfortunately we have not received a reply. Juan More
