We spent 5 nights in the Robins Cottage for 5 nights. The cottage so well appointed and tastefully decorated. It is perfectly located for several of the Peak District edges; esp Birchin and Curbar. Despite the Campbell's being in holiday at the time of our visit, they still managed to leave baking and a bottle of wine. This probably sums... More

We spent a fantastic week in Swallows Cottage. It was equipped to the highest standard and felt homely and comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. It was beautifully clean. A homebaked banana and honey loaf and a bottle of wine had been left for us which was a very nice touch. Friendly unobtrusive owners who were there... More

We had a fantastic time in the Rose rom with the biggest bed I have seen, every part of the accommodation was spotlessly clean. We were welcomed with tea and freshly baked cakes in the beautiful sunny garden and Barbara and Alan made us feel very welcome. A lounge is available for guests to relax, and the home cooked breakfast... More

We had a great visit to Cowclose Farm, staying in the room with two single beds. The hosts are warm and friendly, and we really enjoyed using the living room and other facilities. Unfortunately it was too rainy during out stay to sit outside, but that looked lovely too! Barbara is an excellent cook, so breakfasts were yummy, and on... More

We were lucky to get in to Robin's Cottage for a 4 night stay, preceded by a B&B for one night in the house. Excellent accommodation, everything is first class and beautifully appointed and we were extremely happy with it all. The owners are geared up to making your visit here the best it can be, greeting us with a... More

Barbara obviously loves hosting and cooking, and this came through in everything she did for us. My wife and I spent one night at this spotlessly clean B&B before a visit to nearby Chatsworth House. Not only did we have a large bedroom with windows to the north and south with terrific views across the quiet rolling farmland on the... More

There are many walks that can be done from the farm also plenty in the area if you want to go further a field. , We were welcomed by the owner with the offer of... More

We had a week here in October 2013. It really is a "home from home" experience; relaxed, relaxing and absolutely un-fussy in every particular. Barbara and Alan are generous, helpful and informative hosts. The room was comfortable and appointed exactly as required, and the breakfasts should soon be legendary ! A great base for exploring the White Peak District, convenient... More

A warm and charming welcome (home-made mince pies!) in a location convenient for some of our favourite walks in the Peaks. Our room was clean and comfortable, and Barbara and Alan's award-winning breakfast really does deserve the awards. Absolutely smashing, and my first batch of oatcake batter is rising as I type.

Lovely warm welcome, scrupulously clean and very comfortable beds. Nice comfortable sofas in the lounge and superb breakfast. Ticked lots of boxes for what we were looking for for a one night stay whilst visiting Chatsworth which is only 4.5 miles away. Opposite a very friendly traditional pub which served good food. (Infact, use the pub as a good guide... More
