Another brilliant location during our month-long sojourn in NZ; Gill and Ian looked after us very nicely in their beautiful, elegant home and couldn't do enough for us during our 3 days with them. They're well-placed to visit the Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson, with the small town of Mapua just down the road with one or two good... More

We had a wonderful time at Kimeret Place, with very very welcoming host and a very confortable and cute cottage. The breakfast was amazing, so was the view and we really enjoyed all the little attentions. In 3 weeks travel around New Zealand, this was the best place we encountered.

What a wonderful place to stay. A peaceful location with stunning views. We really enjoyed the quiet ambience of our suite (Edwin) and the way it flowed out on to the deck with views across the bay. Our hostess Gill was warm, friendly and informative. We can thoroughly recommend Kimeret as relaxing, luxurious accommodation which provided for all our needs.

we have recently toured NZ and Jill's lodgings were, in our view, the best we had. the location and view are good, the breakfast good, the room excellent(we were in Alexander) and the little extras(chocolates, eats, stories, etc.) just capped a perfect stay. Jill also gave guidance on activities and provided a booking service for the sea shuttle.

We have just returned from a four week tour of New Zealand and we have to say that KImeret Place was simply the best B&B we stayed in during our travels. It was a haven of luxury and tranquility - a great base to explore the wonderful Abel Tasman area. Having Gill as a hostess was like having your own... More

We stayed here on our honeymoon back in February. The property was fantastic with great views of the landscape. Our hosts, Gill and Ian had great insight and recommendations of the surrounding area which made deciding what to do pretty easy. We had a wonderful breakfast out on the deck before heading out to Abel Tasmen for the day. Upon... More

we stayed her for two nights in January 2014. Delightful place with homely feel and wonderful views, and a very warm welcome from the owner. The breakfast in the garden overlooking the sea was something to remember. I bursty my ankle walking in the nearby Abel Tasman National Park, and when we got to our next hotel in Wellington, Kimeret... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in this wonderful accommodation. Gill is a marvellous hostess, providing excellent breakfasts and daily yummy treats. She is a mine of information about the local area, native culture, routes to follow and places to visit. She obviously takes great pride and pleasure in providing many personal welcoming touches and attention to detail. We... More
