Beautiful example of a castle.... This was built by Richard the Lionheart Amazing views from the top although slightly steep walk... Definitely worth a visit! When we were there, there were people dressed up in costume and showing how people lived at the time in settlements. Really interesting! Make sure you stop by the tea house on the walk back... More

We stayed on the campsite for one night and that was more than enough. Very expensive. The toilet facilities were, quite frankly, dirty. A small light over the sink was the only lighting available as the main lights did not work. Despite the fact that it was still August, most of the toilet block was shut up. There was nowhere... Stopover one night. Pro's - location excellent, easy to find, beautiful grounds, nice and plentiful breakfast. There is use of a small swimming pool and bar next door on the campsite, trampoline and play area. Con's - the house is damp, the towels are smelly and damp and there are no locks on the doors, no smoke alarms in the... More

We stayed here one night en route to Parc Asterix. The site is primarly a campsite but with a beautiful house that you can stay in. We booked an superior quadruple room, but when we were shown to our room, it was two rooms and not one ! You cannot check in until 5.30pm so bear that in mind when... More

We stayed here for just one night as a stopover and were met by the owner who was very helpful and made us some coffees and provided us with some home made cake! The place is very rustic but we found it very charming. We were too late for dinner but we were provided with a lovely breakfast of breads... More
