Stayed for 2 nights when going to watch match at Old Trafford. Warm welcome from host carried luggage up to room. Our room as requested was at the back of hotel. The room was very small more suited to single rather than double I think. All of the hotel was spotless. Breakfast was very good and nothing was too much... More

When we arrived, were greeted by the very friendly proprietor, and shown to our room. It was at the back of the hotel,as requested, and was nice and quiet, with a view of lovely trees. Room was spotlessly clean, and wardrobe had plenty of room for our clothes. Bathroom was a good size, with a lovely hot shower. We turned the radiator up,as it was a... More

stayed for 2 nights at the weekend, beautiful house, clean and well kept but heating didn't work at all in our room despite it being brought to the attention of the lady who served us breakfast. We were asked to pay our bill on arrival which I found a bit unusual but now I know the reason because we never saw... More

Stayed here on a business stop over, convenient location ,fantastic value. The building had oodles of character, with some interesting features including stained glass windows and a stepped terrace garden, a refreshing change from the eurolodge boring boxes. The room was a small single but adequate for purpose, spotless and nicely presented. Breakfast choices were good , when due to... More

Stayed for one night at the weekend. Couldn't fault the standard of cleanliness of the room. Service was good if a bit slow on arrival to get us checked in and the breakfast was very good. We had a front bedroom on the first floor which was only single glazed and had light blinds with no curtains. I got little... More

Visited here as it was the closest hotel to a family party. It is what it says it is, a 3 star hotel that's a bit old fashioned however some of the original Art Deco features are quirky and well preserved. Car park is a bit of a pain to get into as very narrow driveway and I wouldn't want... More

Stayed here for the one night over the May bank holiday weekend as a friend was getting married nearby in Salford Quays. The room was basic, but had tea/coffee making facilities, a comfortable (if a wee bit small) double bed, wardrobe, a fully functional bathroom and a satellite TV. It's a beautiful old house with lovely gardens which unfortunately we... More
