Elements Lodge is the kind of place where you feel right at home. The owners, Anja and Steffan and funny, friendly and all too happy to help you plan your time in Cape Town. When we arrived Steffan took the time to map out how to get to Lions Head then they organised a shark dive and wine tour for... More

Spent three nights at Elements and were happy with the proximity to Cape Town and all sights we were wanting to see. Our private room was very clean and having our own bathroom was an added bonus. The pool in the backyard was perfect for a quick dip and the braai/patio area was our nightly hang out/dinner spot. There is... More

This was our week base for our cape town visit. Close to airport and 20 min drive with car to CT center. Good is private parking and nice neighborhood. Owners are cool and friendly. Rooms basic but nice and ok. You get well for the price you pay. Would stay again

My stay at Elements Guest House was very nice. The house is kept quite clean and there is a lovely pool and grassy area behind the house for guests to relax. The house is not the biggest (especially if you are staying in a dorm room), but it is very cozy and welcoming. The owners are very friendly and helpful... More

We arrived at Elements, expecting a real backpackers environment with not the best quality of rooms but we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the apartment we had was, not as one would expect for a backpackers. The owners are very nice, and they have a lovely pool and garden. We were very surprised and would definitely recommmend Elements to... More

I spend 38 days in dorm room and 3 days in single room at Elements. The dorm rooms are really small and you share them with 3 other persons (2 shelf spaces, bunk beds) but they are really good value for money and you get a special deal for being a SANCCOB volunteer. A good stay for a month but... More

This guesthouse is in a good area, but the effort that went into the rooms and bathrooms are shocking. We had to buy our own pillows, as theirs were very old and thin. There were no wardrobes to hang your clothes and the walls could do with a new coat of paint. The communal kitchen was really dirty. If you... More

It makes us very sad to hear that you were not satisfied with your rooms. Our lodge is a self-catering accommodation and it is cleaned carefully 7 days a weeek. The communal kitchen is cleaned first thing in the morning at 9 am and if it is used afterwards by some guests who don`t tidy up after the usage it... More

My husband and I traveled to Cape Town for our anniversary last year and stayed at Elements for a short while. The staff were friendly and helpful, which is always a great start. We stayed in Earth room, which was beautiful. I will have to see the other rooms sometime. :) The house is nicely decorated and quite a unique... More

We so enjoyed staying at Elements Lodge. Stefan and Anya were so helpful and convivial, with lots of suggestions. The nicest people stay there and we spent several evenings whiling away the hours with fascinating and friendly fellow guests. Several of the guests are hard working volunteers for a local penguin rehab facility which you can tour if you like.... More

We stayed at Elements on the way up to the West Coast and Cederberg. It was great! Lovely situation near to Table View and Bloubergstrand, with all the nice restaurants and bars. But in quiet suburb. Handy for Cape Town too - a short drive and we were at the Waterfront. We loved it - clean and modern, with a... More
