We enjoyed a week stay at the Dolphin Beach Hotel. It is located with fantastic views of table mountain on Bloubergstrand Beach. After a long flight we were happy upon arrival and then all checked into family lake room with the option to upgrade. The room was clean and nicely furnished with kitchen and dining area we were comfortable during... More

I recently traveled with a group of college students to South Africa and stayed at the Dolphin Beach Hotel. Not knowing what to expect, I was a little apprehensive about staying here as I wasn't sure that there would be enough to keep my students engaged at the hotel once they completed their work in informal settlement communities. My apprehension... More

We stayed here in a beach side cabana. The view on the Table Mountain is really lovely... The kids slept in a room with 2 separate beds which was OK. The bedroom for the parents was not so good. The bed is simply too small and the mattress also had its best time. This definitely can be improved. The kitchen... More

We had a family stay at the Dolphin Beach hotel. Unfortunately all the beach front rooms was full, so we had to take a lake room. There was a terrible smell from this lake, it got worse at about 2am. We actually had trouble sleeping. Appart from this, it was a nice hotel, but this experience would spook me for... More

Good afternoon, Thank you for writing a review and informing us of your stay at Dolphin Beach Hotel. We discuss all reviews in our management meetings on a weekly basis and this issue was brought up by our General Manager. Having booked a 10 day stay in January and having confirmed in writing together with supplying hotel with credit card details we were told on arrival that we were not booked in.
