One of the noisiest guest houses I've stayed in as the rooms and passages are tiled so you hear everyone passing your room. To add insult to injury, the extractor fan in our room woke us up by going on in the middle of the night and repeated this exercise early the next morning. It didn't go on when you... More

This hotel had steps down to a very awkwardly arranged bathroom. When the water was turned on in the sink, it splashed onto the floor and also onto the shelf under the sink. I put my pjs on the shelf while showering and they were soaked with water from the sink. There is no where to hang towels. My daughter's... More

Stayed here for 5 nights. The place is very cosy and comfortable. Stunning B&B with excellent buffet breakfast. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Got nice swimming pools and they provide swimming towels. There are few fridges by the pool area where guests can store their food or drinks. They offer free Wi-Fi and parking. The location is perfect in... More

I stayed here when visiting to do some work in University of Cape Town and was very pleased to have been put here by the university. It is a homely guesthouse with excellent breakfasts and was very convenient for UCT. The guesthouse is up a dead end street so it is quiet and safe. My room was also quiet and... More

We have been to a few Cape Town guest houses but Little Scotia has been the best by far. The friendliest and most helpful staff that went out of their way to make their guests feel like royalty. Their facilities are beautiful, clean and it felt that we stayed in a high end hotel. Our room was large, well equipped... More

stayed at Little Scotia for a congress. The guesthouse is well situated in Central Rondebosch. Online booking and checkin were very easy. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. I really like the honesty bar concept (albeit not a novel idea), but it allows the staff to be unobtrusive. Breakfast was great, although it would have been nice to... More

Was in Cape Town on business for a few days and chose this location, Little Scotia, upon recommendation from colleague. The location is excellent and quite central to most of the key tourist areas in Cape Town. Furthermore the evening is abuzz with students and dining places being open. Little Scotia provided peace and tranquility which was needed after a... More

My wife, daughter and myself were visiting our other daughter who was attending The University of Cape Town. We wanted a place so she could visit us after classes. We were very happy with the location and the accomodation. The staff was very helpful and the room was very nice as well. There were very good restaurants within walking distance.... More

In Cape Town with 20 companions from the U.S.and 18 from Northern Ireland. We were a part of the Habitat for Humanity Build in Pelican Park. Little Scotia fit our needs perfectly, it was comfortable; conveniently located for a choice of restaurants; and in a lovely area close to UCT. Breakfast was ample, hot and tasty. If in the Rondebosch... More
