Out in the country and a delightful place to stay if you want peace and quiet. The hosts were wonderful - especially as there was an error with our booking (our fault!) where they found us a bed for the night even though they were fully booked. Such great hospitality. We would not hesitate to return to La Buissonniere. It's... More

I booked this b and b as it was near Giverny but far enough away not to be embroiled in the tourist trap of Giverny. The building is very old and the room we were in seemed to have been created as part of a refurb . It is set in a small hamlet with no facilities although there are... More

We arrived at La Buissonniere in less than ideal circumstances with a car that had broken down for the third time during our holiday so were relieved to find that the house was as pretty as in the photos and the owners welcoming and sympathetic. We loved the pared back decor as we often find it hard to find places... More

My husband and I stayed 6 nights in May 2012 at La Buissonniere. We drove over from Germany and we never ran out of things to do and see {Giverny, Honfleur, Rouen + lots of tiny villages and towns nearby + a few fabulous flea markets!}. The hosts were so warm and friendly and the house was positively dreamy. We... More

An amazing old building oozing rustic chic – masses of dark wood and eclectic objets d’art – but with flashes of cool modern design (possibly IEA but why not?). The bedrooms are nicely designed but sparse (no real hanging space and very rough towels). Welcoming hosts with some English but a chance to practise your French if you want to.... More

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay near Giverny so we could see Monet's garden. This B&B was only 10 minutes away -so great location! The B&B is absolutely beautiful and the hosts were really wonderful people. There was old charm in the uniqueness of the house but the bathrooms and all the rooms were updated--best... More

I stayed one night at La Buissonniere with my mother. And this is truly heaven on earth! La Buissonniere is situated in an old village called Bus Saint Remy and has a beautiful garden, a warm and lovely family atmosphere, and home made yoghurt and bread as part o the lovely breakfast. We stayed in the moon-room which is top... More

We had sat nav, but still couldn't find this B&B as were looking for what it looks like in it's photo. This is actually the back of the house, and the view from the road is just the back of a house and you need to go through the gates! Once we found it, the house is stunning. We were... More
