We spent 3 nights late July 2013 at this amazing venue. The lush gardens of the resort and ambience of the restaurant where we dined each night were spectacular. A more than adequate breakfast was included in the fare. A must do is to spend an afternoon relaxing in the quiet open air function pavilion set back into the rainforest... More

Clean but small rooms, friendly and mostly helpful staff, good food, beautiful surroundings. Though the website advertises TV and internet, we had neither. No room phone and no cell service as well. This will be a plus to many. There is a DVD player in the room and they have a selection of movies you can borrow. My daughter tried... More

A basic but more than adequate room but the place itself is magical. We went swimming in Cooper's Creek, a short walk from the restaurant, and this was one of the highlights of our holiday. This is the Daintree at its best. We stayed for two nights and would highly recommend it. The first night we ate at the restaurant... More

In July 2013 my mother, brother and I stayed at Heritage Lodge and Spa for 2 nights. The location and the staff are excellent. The food in the restaurant whilst tasty was overpriced but we were basically a trapped audience and had to eat there or at the pub (much better value). The rooms are comfy and functional but totally... More

We stayed for one night in June 1013. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food was excellent the location was appropriately secluded. A cassowary wondered past reception and stayed with us about 10 minutes. We will stay again when we visit this location.

We wanted to experience a night in the rainforest and this was perfect. Completely cut off from the outside world, no mobile signal and no tv. The resort was pretty quiet (5 other couples) so lacked a bit of atmosphere which you would get in the Aussie summer. Bungalow was clean and tidy and had a great shower and comply... More

We only topped here for lunch, but it was a great experience. Sitting in the Daintree Rainforest with an absolutely crystal clear stream running beside where you were having a sumptuous meal. Life does not get much better.

The cabins were nicely laid out within the Rainforest. There is a very small pool, and an opportunity to bathe in the river within the complex, but beware of mosquito attack! If you want to be free from technology its the place for you, as there's no mobile reception, limited internet connection, and no live TV, just a lending library... More

Great value for money and a lovely place to stay. Clean comfortable cabins nestled in beautiful gardens. The restaurant is perched beside and just above a flowing creek with a back drop of dense tropical forest. These amazing views and the excellent meals made dining there a great experience. Vicki, the 'hands on' owner was wonderful and the staff refreshingly... More

I know that I'm going to be a bit biased as our stay was to attend our sons wedding which was held at the Lodge but, this was not only the absolute ideal place to get married but also was the most relaxing place we have ever stayed. Vicky and her staff (apologies I can't remember everyone's name) worked so... More
