Value for money with a great location deep within the forest surrounded by streams and a variety of wildlife. Rooms are basic but then you are in the rainforest. Their cream tea/scones are to die for !

We stayed a week in the rain forrest and loved it. Beautiful location and peace and calm environment. Really friendly and accomodation personnel that helped us with daytrips etc. Great food in the restaurant. The creek is full of fish and turtles and great to swim in. A lot to do in the surroundings. Only improvement is the continental breakfast... More

We only stayed 1 night , however it was the best nights sleep of our holiday away , not only that but it was the only time we saw a Cassowary in the wild, came walking right past our cabin, there were also turtles and fish in the crystal clear water stream. It is literally in the middle of the... More

We are so glad that we stayed here for two nights instead of just coming to Cape Trib on a daytrip. It was like entering another world. The cabins are perfect, with insect netting on the windows to keep the insects out. The cabins are a couple of minutes walk from the foyer, where umbrellas are available that you can... More

The hotel is immersed in the tropical rainforest of Daintree. The property includes a creek where you can bath in the morning with no fear of crocodiles. Roooms are nice and quiet. The reataurant is delicious. The staff is very kind.

Wow. What a find. Only weeks after retirement and looking forward to time travelling Australia, I was struck down with a debilitating illness. After a few months of treatment my family organised a week in the daintree to recoup and reflect. I can hardly put into words the sense of peace I found at the lodge , amongst the oldest... More

This hotel was good as the restaurant was fab, it was clean and spacious and the staff were friendly. It was low season so a lot of places are shut at this time of year - so it's good to have a nice place to eat close to home. The staff were good at making recommendations for things to do.... More

Thanks for taking the time to write a review and it's great that you enjoyed your stay with us. The restaurant is very special overlooking Cooper Creek and we are so fortunate to have our Chef Andrew produce such wonderful meals. It is the quiet season but with that comes the amazing storms and plenty of rain. Seeing the water... More

WOW! Thankyou Vicki for your amazing hospitality & magnificent stay at Heritage Lodge & Spa. My family & I thoroughly enjoyed your scrumptious breakfast & fantastic candlelight dinners, whilst sitting on the gorgeous deck, surrounded by the richness of the rainforest, overlooking Cooper Creek....it was pure bliss. Cabin was well equipped, extremely comfortable & set in a lush, tranquil environment.... More

I hope your trip was safe and uneventful back home. As wonderful as it is to have such a great review, it is not only what the resort can offer but what the guests bring to the rainforest and it was a real delight to have you stay with us. Some guests might enjoy their stay but others such as... More
