This was our first trip to the Daintree and we did not know what to expect. The Lodge was great. The room was comfortable, and right near the swimming hole. Which is awesome. We walked the grounds looking at the various animals; getting some nice pictures. Vicky was awesome, making calls to various tour operators letting them know where we... More

We spent 5 nights in a family cabin at the lodge. Cabins are not fancy, but are clean and comfortable. Cabins are "duplexes" but we had no neighbors of the human sort. There was a fair amount of animal activity at night, and the occasional mango dropped on the roof by the small marsupials that frequent the garden. The gardens... More

Arriving at Heritage, we were smug in our choice of accommodation. The cabins are right in the rainforest, which is exactly what we wanted and had been dreaming about for our first trip to the Daintree. The cabins are simple (I hate spa baths!) well appointed and clean. I loved that we could lay on our bed in the late... More

Loved our one night stay at Heritage Lodge & Spa; beautifully tranquil and fabulous meal at the restaurant over looking the creek. The sights and sounds of the forest were all around and it was an amazing experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful and service was excellent. Thank you Vicky for such a lovely stay

I recently stayed at the Heritage Lodge with my husband and two kids. The lodge is tucked away deep in the forest in a beautiful spot next to a stunning little creek with a natural swimming hole. For us, staying at the Heritage really gave us an authentic rainforest experience. There was plenty of wildlife to see including the resident... More

Stayed for three nights in September, it was a totally unique experience. Beautiful location in lush rainforest the lodge is isolated in the best of ways! (but you can get internet access in the restaurant). Staff were fantastic and helpful and you can book all your jungle activities at reception. Restaurant food was lovely. Cabin was well designed and comfortable... More

Me & my husband stayed there for one night on 4th August and we had a fabulous time. The property was easy to locate on GPS. When we went we were greeted by a lovely girl worked at the reception and she showed us the bluish coopers creek which ran behind their restaurant. The menu in their restaurant was good... More

We spent 3 nights late July 2013 at this amazing venue. The lush gardens of the resort and ambience of the restaurant where we dined each night were spectacular. A more than adequate breakfast was included in the fare. A must do is to spend an afternoon relaxing in the quiet open air function pavilion set back into the rainforest... More

Clean but small rooms, friendly and mostly helpful staff, good food, beautiful surroundings. Though the website advertises TV and internet, we had neither. No room phone and no cell service as well. This will be a plus to many. There is a DVD player in the room and they have a selection of movies you can borrow. My daughter tried... More
