I stayed here for four nights at the end of November. It was very pleasant and quiet with not many guests as it was out of the main season. I had stayed at the Ferntree a few years back so I knew my way around Cape Trib. The Lodge and Spa was easy to find, and was close to lots... More

Travelling on a belated honeymoon. A lovely location, very relaxing. Rooms are of a good size and staff are more than happy to provide anything you may need. Anthony is fabulous and went out of his way to make our stay special, including even calling our next destination to let them know our stay was a special occasion and scoring... More

Had to travel to the area for business purposes so decided to stay overnight for some R & R and was not disappointed. Really warm reception, great " rainforest setting" room and a wonderful meal. Swam in the rainforest stream making friends with the fish in the stream. Swam in the pool and slept well. Will certainly stay again.

All the staff were very friendly. Our room was a good size and clean. If you like the rain forest the is a perfect place. The dining experience is made even better because your overlooking a crystal clear creek. Something special.

We stopped here on our tour to Cooktown, and loved the atmosphere and friendly staff. The place is very well hidden and had a peaceful and calming feel about it. The coffee and scones were delicious, fresh and very enjoyable. The surrounding rain forest was beautiful, lush and invited further exploring. We didn't stay the night but imagine it would... More

Great accommodation, tasty restaurant and friendly staff who went our of their way to make our family feel very welcome at very short notice. The kids loved swimming in the creek and spotting not one, but two cassowaries at very close range! We also managed to seek a Musky Rat Kangaroo - all in all the kids described our stay as... More

Stayed one night while on an organised trip. Room clean and quite, services good, people nice and in a good location. Restaurant was surprisingly good for a remote place. Were were lucky enough to meet up with a Carrawarry in the rain-forest.

Set next to Cooper Creek, with a great outdoor dining area we just loved being in this incredible rain forest Lodge. The cabins are good, with a pleasant bathroom and veranda - from which to observe and listen to the jungle. It was great not to have any phone connection - there was limited WiFi within the dining area -... More

The setting of the lodge is lovely. My mum and i felt it was nit what you would expect for 4 to 5 star accommodation. Thdre is no internet or tv reception which is a bonus for an escape. The rooms were basic and the bathroom outdated. It was clean however. At nighttime the sound of the fruits falling from... More
