We stayed in the cabin accommodation for 2 nights. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The cabin was lovely, clean and cosy, with friendly wallabies at our back door. Cassowaries came through the park each day to visit. Several easy forest walks surround the grounds, with beautiful scenery and a lovely stream. The highlight of our stay was the... More

When you arrive at Lynch Haven you feel lucky, like you found a little secret in the Daintree National Park. The luxurious vegetation, the walkways in the rainforest, the exquisite food of the restaurant were big highlights of our two nights stay. You can see wallabys, a crocodile and tons of tropical birds. Quiet and with good amenities if you're... More

We stopped here for lunch and managed to get here early before the bus load of tourists arrived! I ordered the Fish Burger and for the price was very happy with the meal...just nice simple meals and generous servings. While waiting for my meal they had reptile exhibitions to look at and entertaining birds to talk to as well :-)... More

Just stayed here one night in an unpowered site with our little Jucy van. It was $28. It's a nice camp site, not too big and has a decent camp kitchen. Bbqs were coin operated, there was a microwave, toaster and kettle. The showers and toilets were very clean and only a short distance from the sites.

Came back to Daintree again this time came here - delightful - food perfect - place special indeed - cabins ver comfortable. Great place to unwind - not near beach but with food like this who cares ! Love the animals too with the educational component which was an excellent touch !

Stopped at Lync-Haven in the early evening for dinner before the long drive back across the Daintree River Ferry and down to Palm Cove / Cairns (nearly 2 hours away). Open until 7:30pm, we stopped in before 7pm and accidentally ordered something eye-catching from the lunch menu - their local special Thornton's Peak Hamburger and the Aussie Steak Sandwich. They... One of our main goals heading to the Daintree Rainforest was to see some Cassowaries in the wild so we were thrilled to see not only a female on our first night but a male and his teenager with him in the morning. This all happened within the camping area of Lync Haven. When the female appeared, the manager provided... More

Lovely resort, basic rooms(very small bathroom) but the restaurant was excellent, the scenery and wildlife absolutely brilliant! Beautifully located in the rainforest, with all the wonders that provides.

We camped here for 2 nights, the surrounding environment is awesome, the facilities at the camp are very poor, the worst kitchen, and the bathrooms are disgusting, definitely will not camp here again.

Wonderful little motel in the heart of the rainforest. Immersed in a wildlife natural park, with wallabies, birds and crocodiles. The rooms are wide and comfortable, and are located inside the wallabies area. In the morning you can feed wallabies and birds. The owner is very knowleadgeble about the local fauna and can give you a short tour of the... More
