My girlfriend and I stayed here the Labour Day long weekend for 2 nights and found the place very relaxing. Not so much for our dog who was tormented by the chipmunks and squirrels :) We stayed in Cabin 1, and if privacy is what you are looking for, then this is the cabin for you.. It is the furthest... We've been coming to Memquisit Lodge for at least 30 years. There's been different owners over the years, but Frank and Charlene are the best. Friendly and service beyond compare. There's been times when we've run out of gas on the boat while fishing and Frank has come to the rescue. The cottages are comfortable and clean.

My husband attended camp here 20 years ago & he had fond memories of cedar strip boats and incredible fishing. Hence, we revisited the Memquisit Lodge, and we were not disappointed!! Frank & Charlene are very the personification of customer service. It was a 9 hour drive from metro Detroit, but they had turkey dinner boxed for us upon arrival--even... More

Frank, Charlene and family have got a great fishing lodge. The fishing is excellent, cabins and boats all well maintained, the meal plan is excellent as is the cooking. The whole family is friendly and helpful and it is their attitude that makes this lodge such a success. It is a great location for fishing, it has terrific views, I... More

I've been going to this lodge for eight years, the staff has been like family since day one. The one day I was a little under the weather from celebrating, and didn't get up for breakfast they brought me a breakfast to the lodge. If that doesn't tell you the kindness of the staff, I don't know what will. Overall... More

My husband had been to this lodge a few weeks prior on a boys fishing weekend and raved about it. This was our first Thanksgiving without our own cottage to go to and to be honest we never really missed having our own place. The majestic views offered by cabin 8 were absolutely spectacular, sitting by the fire under the... More

Frank and Charlene and family run one of the best fishing camps I ever used. Anyone looking for clean, comfortable accommodations and great fishing, accompanied with a friendly staff and great food should consider this jewel of Ontario. This was my first stay and already planning next Septembers trip to Memquisit Lodge. Mark Merring

Took our 13-year old grandson to this venerable, scenic and friendly lodge in Ontario where my husband had visited several times as a boy with his family in the 50s and 60s! We were more than delighted with the beautiful setting, the immaculate cabins with porch, view and individual docks, the wonderful, plentiful home-cooked food -- and the excellent fishing.... More
