I sit at my keyboard over and over, attempting to type words describing our stay at Chaudiere Lodge. This is my fifth go. All of the hyperbole in the other reviews is correct, ie: fantastic, magnificent, awesome, etc. But it is more...Chaudiere is a feeling. A feeling that lingers for weeks and months after the stay. I would awake in... More

Chaudiere Lodge is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Ontario. Steve and his staff bend over backwards to make your stay memorable. We went fishing with Billy (a local guide), at first we did not know what to expect, but we had a gas. One of the best days fishing I have ever had. Thanks Billy. In... More

The Chaudiere Lodge and surrounding area is a piece of paradise! The staff is distinguishable, first by their attention to detail, friendliness, courtesy, general interest of how you are doing; but, finally by the clean casual dress and the Chaudiere Lodge logo on the shirts. The cabins, lodge and watercraft are clean, up to date and well maintained. The food,... More

This is the third year we have made the trip to the Chaudière Lodge, and plan to go again next year. The fishing is great, the scenery is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and the accommodations are outstanding--but the main reasons for coming back each year are the hospitality of the owner (Steve) and the superb food. For us, the... More

We spent a fantastic week at the Chaudiere lodge, very pleased with our cabin, rustic as expected and very clean. Service was above par and staff very helpfull. Just as advertised 5 star northern fishing lodge. Best of all were our fishing guides Billy and Trever they found the fish made great shore lunches and were truly pleasent and helpful.... More

Probably our most magical trip. Very relaxing. My husband is a mad fisherman and said the two guides, Billy and Trevor, were among the best he ever had. They put us on the fish, fried it up for lunch in a delicious and memorable way, and were flat out excellent. Loved the kayaking, the relaxing conditions were good for teaching... More

This August 2013 will be our fourth trip to Chaudiere Lodge. The weather, the fishing, the cabins, the food, the shore lunchs, the staff, the guest, and the views are all about why we come to Canada and Chaudiere each year. If you spent August in Texas when the lows at night are 79 degrees and the highs are in... More

The Chaudiere Lodge feels like a family. Not only is the beauty breathtaking and the fishing incredible, but the people and staff are welcoming and so accommodating. Steve, the owner, greets you as if you are his long lost friend and makes sure you have anything you need throughout your entire visit. My father and I went for the first... More

The thing that makes the Chaudiere stand out is the personal service you get from Steve, the owner and everyone else who works at the lodge! We spent a week there and nothing was too much trouble for the team. Our coffee maker in our cabin didn't work and it was soon replaced but with the addition of an electric... More

We have been coming to Chaudiere Lodge for the past 3 years where we host our annual Boy's Fishing Weekend. From the moment you arrive at this resort you know you are about to experience something special. Steve the owner greets you like you are family and accommodates your every wish. The staff is extremely friendly and they are willing... More
