I can't share enough positive information about our stay at Chaudière Lodge. I just returned from a visit with my son and dad. It was exactly what we hoped for! Relaxing, with great fishing, and the staff made it a really terrific first-time experience for my 12-year-old. Every single staff person there was friendly and very helpful. They seemed to... More

Of course fishing is the draw. However this was me and my dads first ever fishing outfitter trip. Admittedly we are not hard core fishermen. The staff was so helpful and friendly and food was amazing. The lodge is awesome. Having a couple drinks and conversing with staff after hours was great. Chad and Dave Hurley Renfrew, On

Simply the Best..Been coming since 2001 and there simply is not a better fishing lodge in Northern Ontario. Seen many different lodges and camps since 1970 and none compare. Food, Service, People, Location , Potential... Caught a 18lb and 41 lb Musky in a secret spot :)

I have just completed the annual Father son fishing trip this year. I am 66 and my son is 30, we are familiar with Lake Nipissing/French River area and tried a couple of lodges over the years. I found Chaudiere Lodge on Google. WOW what a great experience. Great food, Fabulous service from pickup to drop off. The staff are... More

My adult son and I went on a fishing weekend at this lodge on the French River. The fishing was a little slow but that was more than compensated for by the tremendous service and outstanding food. Both my son and I have travelled extensively but this place was really memorable. From Jenn at the desk to Danielle our server... More

For 45 I've fished all over Canada and have stayed at over 50 Lodges. Chaudiere is by far the best. From the Management (Steve/Cole) to the entire staff they are tops. For my wife to for-go the beach for Chaudiere is a testimonial in it's self. The only down-side is when we have to leave. If you haven't been there,... More

In early August of 2014 my Wife Kelly and I stayed in the Look-out cabin at Chaudiere Lodge for a week. We rented the Princecraft, fully rigged for fishing, since that was the main theme of our visit. Steve told us the Muskey is "the fish of ten thousand casts". With Steve advice (and a lure he loaned me), we... More

I just got back from a week long relaxing wilderness getaway, and what an amazing experience it was! To be greeted at the Dokis marina by a friendly Chaudier staff member who was more than happy to give me a tour before getting to the lodge was my first of many extra touches I received during my stay at Chaudier... I arrived in Ontario from Brisbane, Australia looking for a Canadian 'wilderness' and fishing experience and that's what I got staying at the Chaudiere Lodge. The accommodation was just right, comfortable and surrounded by breathtaking scenery. We opted for the self catering package but the friendly staff were more than happy to help us out with anything we may have... More

My three sons, husband, 80 year old Mom and I spent a relaxing, wonderful week at Chaudiere during the last week of August. We hadn't been on a "complete family vacation" in quite a few years and I was hoping to find a place that would make everyone happy. We loved Chaudiere from the start! Danny, "the dock master", picked... More
