Phobjikha Valley is one of the hightlight touring Bhutan. A remote valley, unique scenery of an unspoilt Beauty, peaceful. Choose Dewachen Resort as your stay - it's a nice and charming place with a touch of a Swiss Alpine accommodation. Great view out of the windows over the valley. Try the special house drink - which will warm you also... More

This hotel is very isolated and I would not recommend it for a single traveler as there is nothing to do, no TV or Internet. It is a beautiful building and the room was very nice. The shower was a little creepy and they had the occasional power outage. Also in the evenings, it gets very cold and you have... More

Got the corner room on ground floor and being low season there wash' many tourists. Room - clean, simple and well maintained. The bathroom room windows were tad bit low for a tall person so we had to cover the windows with a towel else you never know who might be peeking in. Room came with simple amenities and hair... More

With large, warm rooms, most of which have stunning views, this hotel is a lovely place to stay. With friendly hard-working staff, good food and amenities, it was a very relaxing hotel. We had a bonfire in the grounds at night that the staff organised for us. There are a range of excellent walking trails around for you to get... More

I stayed in this hotel on 21st June 2014 along with my family in deluxe room no 212. The location of this resort is awesome and breathtaking. The rooms are nice with well maintained bukhari. There is no TV/Wifi in the room which further adds to the serenity and peace. The dinner was great and plenty of options for breakfast.... More

Absolutely nothing to complain about. The position overlooking the valley provides breathtaking views. The rooms are huge and comfortable. The staff are friendly and do their job well. If you need wifi and television it is not the place for you. I'm looking forward to a return visit in December when the black necked cranes will be there.

This small place is really cozy. There's no wifi, no TV and no phone in the room. A place to really unwind. The corner room is my favourite. Hope fully The restaurant has a spectacular view of the valley. I guess it would be even more spectacular in winter when the black neck crane flocks there. A place I wouldn't... More

During our visit to Phobjika valley on 24/05/2014 from Bumtang we stayed over for a night at Hotel Dewachen. A lovely hotel, a great room (109) with large fixed windows and located with full view of the mountains and valley. The room was provided with a small fire place. The restaurant too had view of the valley and mountains and... More

This was the nicest hotel of our stay in Bhutan. The room was spectacular with a fabulous view. beautifully designed with a spacious room. We had great luck and were given an upper corner room with windows on three sides. Architecturally, it is a beautiful building in a stunning location.
