A beautiful spot with clean, empty sandy beaches, warm, warm sea, snorkelling a short boat trip away. Clean basic rooms with good powerful showers and hot water. Comfortable beds. A delicious buffet - the Sri Lankan options are the best. Friendly helpful staff. Relaxing spa. Lovely gardens and pool. There are bugs in the tropics but didn't have any problems... More

We had arranged a tour with a driver but the pre booked hotels we viewed were cockroach infested nightmares - we were stranded in Trincomalee! But our driver eventually found this hotel which thank god he did it - although it cost us a lot of extra money at $140 a night - it was worth every penny to stay... More

stayed with my family of five. rooms are clean, blue, spacious. you may also need to share the habitat with other animals. so if you are afraid of millipedes, frogs, lizards, squirrels, try and ask for the upper floor. lovely pool. lovely beach. food has got good presentation, but taste is alright! right opposite is pigeon island where you can... We went there for three days and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is over priced, it is a nice hotel with a private beach and great view to the sea. But the rooms are OK, not too classy or "resort" seem like. The food was good, the service was OK. The best thing was waking up in front of... More

We stayed in at pigeon Island beach resort for 4 days in September. We had booked a deluxe room….There was nothing deluxe about it. It had a very bad smell of vomit (which they told me was fresh paint smell) and the ceiling fan was screeching something shocking. I couldn't stay in this room (209) so I went back to... More

I stayed here for 2 nights with a friend at the end of our trip so relaxing and unwinding were top of the agenda. The hotel is beautiful and we were upgraded when we arrived which was amazing! The staff were very helpful, especially the manager who helped us during our stay with getting around seeing the surrounding sites as... More

This had every thing. very quiet hotel on its own stretch of beach with no hotels for miles around. rooms were big and air conditioned. we stayed 6 nights here and wanted more. sun downers overlooking the sea while the kids potted in the pool or played cricket on the beach. we have 2 teenagers and two under 10. all... We turned up to this hotel with an additional guest and had phoned the day before and been given a price. Once we arrived they quoted us something different so instantly we sat having a debate. The hotel staff as in service people (dining, cleaners, bar and pool staff) were absolutely lovely and wonderful. The food in the restaurant was... More

Where to start….We stayed here for three nights (regretfully) and were really disappointed. First of all the location is a lot further from Trinco than you would expect and costs a lot in a tuk tuk to get there and back so apart from the beach/diving centers theres not much to do here. The hotel from the outside appears to... More

Stayed here for four nights in July. Great hotel and lovely, lovely staff. Many of the young waiters coming from local villages so while the service isn't polished, they are so welcoming and friendly. Great food... and a great Pigeon Island boat which took us to Pigeon Island for amazing snorkelling - saw turtles and shark! We also went on... More
