The management of this lodge (Churhat Kothi) was handed over to C C Africa and Taj Hotels in 2006 and since is known as Mahua Kothi, the original owners of the lodge have moved their operations to another part of the park to set up a a 4 room eco-lodge called Anant Van.

We stayed here for three nights as part of our tour of India. We arrived there in the evening having travelled all day from Varanasi. We were met by Lucy an english lady who was the manageress. From that moment on she always made sure you were a guest and not just profit. We had a slideshow around a campfire... More

We have just returned from 3 weeks in India. Churhat Kothi is one of several hotels and guest houses at the Bandhavgarh National Park (reputed to be one of the best places to see tigers in India) in Madhya Pradesh.
