- Drumoig Hotel St Andrews

Just back from an excellent stay at the Drumoig Golf Hotel. We were a group of golfers and found everything about the hotel and course catered perfectly for our needs. The rooms were freshly decorated, clean and spacious. The food was very good as was the well earned beers in the bar that has stunning views of the course. The...

We were looking forward to a professional golf hotel, what we got was an average bed and breakfast type establishment. On arrival were told we would be given a 'special rate' in the morning to compensate items unavailable, including no bar. Cold day and the rooms allocated were not preheated. No facilities the day we stayed so for food or...

23 golfers spent the weekend at Drumoig from the 11'o clock section of Braehead Golf Club. we played 2 rounds of golf on a fantastic course. The staff in the hotel and the starter at the golf course were very good, they were really friendly and could not do enough for us. The food was amazing, it was good quality...

Stayed in September for one night. This is basically run as a golf club, so has lovely views.
The staff are friendly and couthy, but lack professionalism and the standard of cleanliness is not wonderful. (The bar chairs were filthy and our room windows full of finger prints). Our (upgraded) room shared a (thin) wall with the kitchen vent, meaning...

Stayed at the hotel in March 2011. Booked two rooms for four people at a cost of £29.00 per room which included breakfast. It was a last minute booking made via Late Rooms. We were visiting Dundee and I had problems finding accommodation there so booked the Drumoig. I was pleased we did. The rooms were peaceful and very comfortable....

Food was good quality limited but adequate choice for the price, only reservation was at breakfast plates were not warmed so had to eat fast but again...

I just had to write a brief review, having just returned from six days at Drumoig Golf Hotel. My wife and I were staying there for a golf competition she was playing in on one of the St Andrews courses and Drumoig offered a good value alternative and only 10-15 minutes drive away from St Andrews itself. We stayed in...

Thsi hotel is very clean and modern with very helpful staff. You cannot fault the value for money and the location is not too far from St Andrews. A short drive or a trip on a bus will see you there in 20 minutes. Breakfast was excellent. The only drawback is that the walls in the rooms are paper thin...
